The Hateful Eight is a 2015 Western film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. The film follows eight travelers who find themselves stranded in a log cabin during a massive snowstorm. The cast includes Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, and Walton Goggins. The Hateful Eight was one of only twelve features that were lensed in the Ultra Panavision 70 film format.

Remington 1858 ("Cattleman's Carbine")

The Remington 1858 New Army "Cattleman's Carbine" is the primary weapon carried by John Ruth, "The Hangman" (Kurt Russell). The weapon also is seen in the hands of Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins).
