Built by Daewoo Prevision Industries of South Korea, the Daewoo K5 Pistol is the standard sidearm of the South Korean military. It is commonly carried by MPs, Security forces and Local Police units throughout South Korea as well. Their export version of the same pistol is the DP-51.
The DP51s are well known for being affordable surplus pistols with a unique "triple-action" trigger system and an American variant, the Lionheart LH9.
