Forty Guns (1957) was written, produced, and directed by Samuel Fuller (The Steel Helmet, Pickup on South Street, Merrill's Marauders) and starred Barbara Stanwyck, Barry Sullivan, Dean Jagger, John Ericson, Gene Barry, Robert Dix, and Neyle Morrow. The Bonnell brothers, Grif (Sullivan), Wes (Barry) and Chico (Dix), ride into Tombstone to find that Cochise County is controlled by an authoritarian land baroness, Jessica Drummond (Stanwyck), her brother Brockie (Ericson), and her armed posse of forty dragoons.

Winchester Model 1892
Louvenia Spanger (Eve Brent) and her father, Shotgun (Gerald Milton), build custom-made Winchester Model 1892 rifles.
