Vladimir Adolfovich Schneiderov (1900-1973) was a well known Soviet explorer, film director and cameraman of German descent. He also was a founder of Klub kinoputeshestviy (Cinema Travelling Club), a high popular Soviet and Russian television program dedicated to the popularization of geography and travels.
