The Lanfier Colony (original Czech title Kolonie Lanfieri, original Russian title Koloniya Lanfier) is a Czech-Soviet 1969 adventure movie, directed by Jan Schmidt and based on the story by Aleksandr Grin. Horn (Juozas Budraitis), a lone man tired of civilization, settles on a remote island. He wants to live far away from local people, but when Horn finds a gold field, his plans drastically change.
