Mile 22 is an upcoming 2018 action film directed by Peter Berg. Mark Wahlberg stars as James Silva, an elite CIA agent who must escort an informant (Iko Uwais) 22 miles from the American embassy to the airport in a hostile Southeast Asian country. The cast includes John Malkovich, Ronda Rousey, and Lauren Cohan. The film marks the fourth collaboration between director Berg and star Wahlberg, who previously worked together on the 2013's Lone Survivor and the 2016 films Deepwater Horizon and Patriots Day. Mile 22 is scheduled for release on August 17, 2018.
