The Bourne Identity was a two-part made-for-TV movie that aired in 1988. It very closely follows the original book written by Robert Ludlum eight years earlier. The remake starring Matt Damon made in 2002 deviated from the original plotline, keeping only the basics.
The following firearms were used in the made-for-TV movie The Bourne Identity:
One of Carlos's men uses a Desert Eagle to shoot Jason Bourne twice on a boat outside Marseilles. It is most likely the earliest Mark I model.
Beretta 92
Dr. Geoffrey Washburn (Denholm Elliott) tosses an early Beretta 92 to Jason Bourne (Richard Chamberlain), asking him to disassemble it. Bourne does so professionally, although he is unable to recall why or how he is able to. Bourne later takes a Beretta 92 from D'Anjou (James Faulkner) in Paris.
Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snubnose
The most commonly seen weapon in the film is a Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snubnose that Bourne takes from a hitman he disarms in the Zurich bank elevator. He uses it throughout the film. One of the NYPD officers during the finale also has a Model 19 Snub. This is the same weapon that can be seen wielded by Bourne on the DVD cover.
Walther PPK
All of the Zurich assassins, including "Gold Glasses" (Wolf Kahler), the fat man (Michael Habeck), and Fritz Koenig (Peter Vaughan), use suppressed Walther PPK pistols. Gold Glasses (Wolf Kahler) fires it at Bourne in the bank in Zurich, somehow firing 17 shots from it. Bourne gets a hold of one after he is detained by Gold Glasses in Zurich, using it to stop the fat man from raping Marie. Despite the suppressor, it sounds unsuppressed when Bourne fires it.
unidentified rifle
One of the Zurich assassins fires a rifle with a laser sight at Bourne and Marie in the parking garage of the hotel in Zurich.

Walther P5
A hitman sent to kill Bourne in the Zurich boarding house uses a Walther P5 with wood grips, which Bourne quickly disarms him of and carries in his waistband. Marie St. Jacques (Jaclyn Smith) later uses the same P5 to fire at the fat man as he fights with Bourne near the river.
One of Carlos's assassins holds a Walther WA 2000 when a messenger comes to see Carlos. Gillette (James Laurenson) later uses one in the cemetery to shoot Conklin and Abbott.
Smith & Wesson Model 39
Gillette uses a suppressed Smith & Wesson Model 39 when he infiltrates the Treadstone 71 safehouse in New York with Koenig.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
One of the Treadstone operators draws a Smith & Wesson Model 15 but drops it when he is shot by Koenig.
Smith & Wesson Model 38 Bodyguard
Bourne uses a Smith & Wesson Model 38 Bodyguard to shoot at Carlos in Paris, killing two of his guards with it. Although it only can hold five rounds, Bourne ends up firing nine without reloading.
unidentified pistols
Carlos's guards in Paris use pistols when firing at Bourne outside the church.
Walther P38
Brigadier Gen. Alex Conklin (Shane Rimmer) carries a Walther P38 during the confrontation in the Paris cemetery, a strange choice for an American military general. Bourne later commandeers the weapon to kill Gillette after the latter shoots Abbott.
CZ-82
French Gen. Francois Villiers (Anthony Quayle) uses a CZ-82 to shoot his wife Angelique (Kate Howard), then threatens Bourne with it. Carlos (Yorgo Voyagis) uses one during his fight with Bourne in the Treadstone 71 safehouse in New York. One of the Treadstone operators also carries one.
Ingram MAC-10
The fat man fires a MAC-10 at Bourne with two magazines taped together jungle-style, which Bourne takes from him after killing him and uses to kill Carlos.
