Just curious but, is it worth adding a short description about the guns on this page? Like how they work in-game and such? I'm only asking is because despite the amount of images there's not a whole lot of which describes how the weapons function or when they are even unlocked at or which faction they belong to etc, just feel like it might spice the page up a little more? 4,6x30mm HK

  • 4.6x30 - Exclusive to the HK MP7 Personal Defence Weapon.

5,7x28mm FN

  • 5.7x28 - Exclusive to the FN P90 Personal Defence Weapon.

7,62x25mm Tokarev

9x18mm Makarov

  • 9x18 MP - 9mm Makarov Pistol (GRAU 57-N-181) is the standard FMJ Ball round.
  • 9x18 PBM - 9mm PBM (GRAU 7N25) was an Armor-Piercing round in limited issue. It is a semi-jacketed hardened steel-core bullet which could piece 5mm steel plates or 2.4mm kevlar armor. In-game it offers significant penetration of light body armor at expense of overall damage.

9x19mm Parabellum

  • 9x19 7N21 - Russian-made 9mm Parabellum ammunition. It is an Overpressure +P round with armor-piercing capabilities consisting of a hardened steel core with an exposed tip, enclosed by a partial bi-metal jacket. An exposed tip aids in penetration. The PP-2000 in-game is said to use the 7N21 exclusively. In-game it has high armor penetration while having a reduced damage output.
  • 9x19 7N31 - An improved version of the 7N21 bullet but made lighter for improved muzzle velocity. In-game it provides slightly less armor penetration but has superior damage.

9x21mm Gyurza

This high-powered overpressure round was designed to pierce body armor at close range. It should not be confused with the 9x21mm IMI, which has different dimensions and is less powerful.

  • 9x21 SP-10 - Utilised solely in the SR-2M "Veresk" SMG. The SP-10 variant is an Armor-Piercing bullet with a hardened steel core. In-game it provides equal armor penetration and damage.

.357-in. Magnum [9x33mmR]

  • .357 Magnum - Exclusively used by the Colt Python revolver.

.45-in. Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP) [11,43×23mm]

  • .45 ACP - The standard full-metal-jacketed Ball round.
  • .45 ACP +P - Utilised exclusively for the Kriss Vector. "+P" (Increased Power) is a common designation for Overpressure ammunition, where the ammunition is loaded with higher internal pressure loads resulting in higher muzzle velocity and stopping power.

Shotgun Ammunition

12 Gauge 2.75-in. [18.5x70mmR]

  • 12x70 Birdshot (Green Hull) - It was only seen in very early Alpha builds and cut from the game in later builds but it still exists in the game files. This round was available as a free type of ammunition for Shotguns. Its damage was only slightly weaker than standard buckshot but had a much larger spread. Its icon was later kept and used as the special buckshot for the the Saiga 12 and Vepr 12.
  • 12x70 Smallshot (Red Hull) - Survarium's version of Buckshot, likely Number 4 Buckshot by the number of pellets in each shot. Standard ammunition for most Shotguns excluding the Saiga 12 and Vepr-12.
  • 12x70 Smallshot (Green Hull) - A special version of Buckshot utilised for the Saiga 12 and Vepr 12. It is said to be more powerful but much more expensive (at 100 silver for a box of 20)
  • 12x70 Slug (Black Hull) - A solid rifle slug for use with Shotguns. In-game possses high armor penetration but lacking damage however it will further extend the range of most Shotguns to 150m.

Rifle Ammunition

5,45x39mm M74 Soviet

All rounds have a copper-clad steel jacket and a lacquered steel case.
  • 5.45x39 7N6M - Standard ammunition available for most 5,45x39mm caliber firearms. The "-M" suffix stands for Modernetya, because it was an improved or "modernized" iteration of the earlier 7N6 round. It has a soft-tipped semi-jacketed bullet that incorporates a mild steel penetrator. In-game it posses slightly higher damage but relatively standard armor penetration in comparison to the Armor Piercing rounds.
  • 5.45x39 7N10 - Armor Piercing ammunition. "Improved Penetration" round which featured a soft-tipped semi-jacketed bullet with a hardened steel penetrator. It has a black tip and the case mouth is sealed with violet lacquer. In-game it possesses high armor penetration but lacks in overall damage.
  • 5.45x39 7N22 - Semi Armor Piercing ammunition. This round has a full-jacketed bullet and a sharpened point-hardened steel penetrator. It has a black tip and the case mouth is sealed with red lacquer. In-game it provides high damage output at the expense of armor penetration.

5,56x45mm NATO

  • 5.56x45 - Standard FMJ Ball round.

6,5x39mm Grendel

  • 6.5x39 Grendel - Exclusive to the AK-12; it is a placeholder for the similar experimental Russian 6x49mm and 6x53mm "Universal" cartridges. In-game it causes slightly more damage than the "improved" AK-12M1 chambered for 7.62x39mm.

7,62x39mm M43 Soviet

All rounds have a copper-clad steel jacket and a lacquered steel case.
  • 7.62x39 - The Standard 7,62x39mm round.
  • 7.62x39 7N23 - An Armor-Piercing bullet with a hardened steel penetrator. It is also known as the 7,62x39mm BP (Broneboi'niy Pulya = Armor-Piercing Bullet). In-game it offers high armor penetration in exchange for slightly less damage.
  • 7.62x39 RPD - Special 7,62x39mm ammunition exclusive to the RPD Light Machine Gun. These are likely standard Ball rounds loaded in the RPD's non-disintegrating metal link belt housed in the RPD's Drum Magazine, but treated as a separate form of ammunition.

.30-30 Winchester [7.62x51mmR]

The cartridge's name ".30-30" comes from its original loading, which had its .30-inch bullet over a 30-grain charge of smokeless powder; it is also less well known as the .30 Winchester Centerfire (.30 WCF), .30-30 Marlin, or .30-30 Smokeless. The ammunition is not interchangeable with 7.62mm NATO because the .30-30 round has a rimmed base. The 7.62mm NATO also has a longer overall length and is necked down at a higher shoulder than the .30-30 cartridge.
  • .30-30 Winchester - A standard Ball round that is exclusive to the .30-30 Winchester Model 1894 lever-action carbine.

7,62x51mm NATO

  • 7.62x51 - This is the standard 7,62x51mm M80 Ball round.
  • 7.62x51 M59 - Exclusive to the SOCOM 16 Rifle. This is the early Semi-Armor-Piercing version of the standard 7.62x51mm NATO round. It is like the 7.62mm M61 Armor-Piercing round but with a mild iron or steel core rather than a hardened steel core. In-game it functions identical to other rounds used by similar 7,62x51mm firearms.

7,62x54mmR M91 Russian

  • 7.62x54 - A lead-core FMJ Ball round for use with the Mosin-Nagant M38 Carbine.
  • 7.62x54 7N1 - A Match-grade Ball round designed for use with the SVD and SV-98. The wooden shipping crates, hermetically-sealed 440-round sheetmetal 'spam' cans, and 20-round wax-paper-wrapped ammo packets are all distinctly marked Снайперская (Snaiperskie > "Sniper") to prevent it being wasted as conventional ball ammo.
  • 7.62x54 7N13 - A semi-armor-piercing round with a sharp steel penetrator for use with the PKP Pecheneg. It is also known as the 7.62x54mm PP (Povishennaya Probivaemost > "Enhanced Penetration" round).

9x39mm Subsonic

  • 9x39 SP-5 - 9x39mm SP-5 (GRAU 7N8) Match Grade Ball ammo.
  • 9x39 SP-6 - 9x39mm SP-6 (GRAU 7N9) Armor-Piercing ammo with machined hardened steel core.
  • 9x39 PAB-9 - 9x39mm PAB-9 (GRAU 7N12) Armor-Piercing ammo with stamped steel core.

12,7x54mm VSSK

This exclusive ammunition is not interchangeable with that of the ASh-12,7 due to its different dimensions and longer projectile. It is also sub-sonic, while the ASh is super-sonic.
  • 12.7x54 PT - The Semi-Armor-Piercing round for the VSSK. It has two variants in real life. The PT-1 round is full metal-jacketed lead with a steel penetrator and the PT-2 round is solid bronze, like the GECO Aktion Sicherheit (Action Safety).
  • 12.7x54 VPS - The Armor-Piercing (Special) round for the VSSK. It has a Tungsten Carbide core.

12,7x55mm ASh

This exclusive ammunition is not interchangeable with that of the VSSK.
  • 12.7x55 - A Ball round exclusive to the ASh-12,7.

.50-in. Browning Machine Gun (BMG) [12,7x99mm]

This is the standard NATO Heavy Machinegun round.
  • 12.7x99 - This cartridge is exclusive to the Barrett M82A1M.

12,7x108mm M30 Soviet (.51-in. ComBloc)

This was the standard Soviet Heavy Machinegun round and is still used by the Russian Federation, former Communist Bloc nations, and current Russian clients.

Discussion

Just curious but, is it worth adding a short description about the guns on this page? Like how they work in-game and such? I'm only asking is because despite the amount of images there's not a whole lot of which describes how the weapons function or when they are even unlocked at or which faction they belong to etc, just feel like it might spice the page up a little more? Draco122 (talk) 07:07, 26 August 2015 (EDT)

English is not my national language. In English I'm weak. Why do I add descriptions. --Emto_PL (talk) 16:14, 26 August 2015 (EDT)

It's not needed but if you'd like I can add some descriptions to the page, just gives people some background information is all Draco122 (talk) 17:16, 26 August 2015 (EDT)

The description is not needed. More information on weapons is gamepedia. Survarium_Wiki --Emto_PL (talk) 17:29, 26 August 2015 (EDT)

Actually, in my opinion, it's sorta needed (Stuff like basic info about the gun, any inaccuracies with it, etc...) --SeanWolf (talk) 22:28, 26 August 2015 (EDT)
I was gonna add in some factual elements even down to some basic stuff like what faction it belongs to, what ammunition it uses and basic details of how it performs in-game, while I haven't unlocked all of the weapons, I also think they need a little bit more information than just some pictures a name. Draco122 (talk) 13:29, 31 August 2015 (EDT)

I can add a description to each weapon. But I need someone who will make my grammatical errors. Do you want to correct my mistakes? --Emto_PL (talk) 13:49, 31 August 2015 (EDT)

Well, if you want me to, I can go and edit the descriptions of the pictures to give a bit more detail on the weapons (I'll need to download the game myself) --SeanWolf (talk) 17:30, 5 September 2015 (EDT)

Give outdated data.

  • AKS-74U on tier 6 (Die Hard) not tier 7 (Veteran).
  • SA vz. 58P on Tier 7 (Veteran) not tier 6 (Die Hard).
  • SR-3M Vikhr heave standard 30 round magazine not 20 round.

Additions

Added an overview of the game, description of the Factions and even included an ammunition section in Discussion detailing the special ammunition in-game. Draco122 (talk) 20:00, 15 September 2015 (EDT)

I immediately realized that the modified M712 reminds me: [1]. -Slon95 (talk) 10:24, 22 October 2017 (EDT)

54mm on the Vychlop

Is that an error or an actual round? Because some sources out there do call the round 12.7x54mm. Are these sources incorrectly rounding down? --Wuzh (talk) 00:57, 28 April 2018 (EDT)
