Monster (2004)

Monster (2004-2005) is a 74-episode anime series based on Naoki Urasawa's manga of the same name. The story follows Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a brilliant neurosurgeon who discovered that the young boy named Johan who he saved years ago has turned into a criminal mastermind responsible for a series of brutal murders. As he tries to track down Johan himself, he is also trying to evade the police, particularly an obsessive BKA inspector who believes Tenma is the true perpetrator. The story takes place across various parts of Germany and Czech Republic.

Nina Fortner/Anna Liebert uses the Walther PPK as her main sidearm. BKA Inspector Heinrich Lunge carries two Walther PPKs (instead of the Walther P5 and PP in the manga), with one in an ankle holster as a backup weapon.
