The film stars Matthew Broderick, Cary Elwes, Morgan Freeman, and Denzel Washington in his Oscar-winning role. Glory was directed by Edward Zwick, who went on to direct such war features as The Last Samurai, Courage Under Fire, Blood Diamond, and Defiance.
