Please help ID these tranq weapons. --Ben41 (talk) 19:21, 15 June 2015 (EDT)
- These are both made by Pneu-Dart, pistol is the X-2, rifle is the X-Caliber. --commando552 (talk) 19:42, 15 June 2015 (EDT)
- Thats a stovepipe, right? -Winn
- Seems like it -User:Gran28
Actually I think it's just a shot in the middle of the shell ejecting and the reaction on his face is due to him being in serious pain from getting shot in the knee, I saw the movie.--drakus 11:10, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

416s and REC7s
I just wanted to prompt someone to look into the openin' conflict scenes. I saw some of what looked like an HK416, I may be wrong, but the curve of the mag and the sights on the upper didn't look right to be M4A1s, even if the uppers were modded.
Also, the weapon on the guy in Max's truck, the first guy that comes out, that upper on that weapon doesn't belong to an M4 either. Too big. That weapon is a Barrett REC7.
Just thought I'd relay this info to someone who could add to this piece. I don't know how.
Semper Fi, Y'all
Why do people think tricked out M4s are 416s and REC7s? I don't think any armorer has a REC7. Excalibur01 07:19, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Well, maybe not those in particular, but that guy out of the armored truck definately doesn't have an M4. That's a M468 Barrett. Like this one: http://www.futurefirepower.com/wp-content/photos/orig_m468.jpg
- Not likely as so far there have been no REC7s in any movie armory. They just don't have anything going for them that a regular M4 carbine can do.Rockwolf66 19:42, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
- I think expense should also be noted here. Let's face it. As cool as it would be for the REC7 or some other truly tricked out M4/M-16 clone (.50 Beowulf anyone???) to be used most movies would go for something in the 5.56 family of weapons. Literally there must be tons of 5.56 blank ammunition lying around so why go for a 6.8 SPC when you could save a few bucks??? --Charon68 12:57, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
- That is the ultimate point. We'll never see a REC7 in a movie firing at least because the blanks for them would be more expensive than the tons of 5.56 blanks already flooding the market. Mostly likely it's just a tricked out M4 perhaps in an SIR rail Excalibur01 03:45, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- Also if you noticed the screen caps, be it very BAD ones, maybe even illegal. They have stocks that are not standard to the REC7. I still think they are tricked out M4s. Oh and ever heard of SR-15s? http://www.knightarmco.com/sr15.html Now compare the image to the image below. Looks like those rifles don't you think? Excalibur01 03:48, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
Look at the stocks in these.
The front end is too short and it has a FOLDING STOCK.
- It looks like a Galil rifle, probably the SAR variant. --Markit 14:12, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
In this pic (http://www.imfdb.org/images/7/71/Losers002.jpg) it clearly looks like Roque is holding an HK 416. The dual sling loops on the gas block are a giveaway - see this pic (http://www.defensereview.com/hksecret9/HK416%20Enhanced%20Carbine%20(5.56x45mm)%20Fact%20Sheet_1_Large.jpg)
During the Bolivian mission, while waiting for the helicopter, Roque has a 416 and Jensen has an M4 SIR. Based on a shot of Clay's pistol grip while staring at the wreckage, all are airsoft replicas. I have two screengrabs: http://img200.imageshack.us/i/losers1.jpg/ http://img44.imageshack.us/i/losers2.jpg/
Roque's is definitely a 416, but Jenson's is an M4 with a SIR. I moved the misplaced screenshots to the appropriate place. Spartan198 18:01, 12 June 2011 (CDT)
Barrett M468s
And, also. In Maxs' convoy attack I took another look, as well as in the harbor attack, that the flat-topped, solid-stocked weapons might be Barrett M468s as opposed to M-16A4s or M4s.
Is it just me, or do the rifles used by the guys in gas masks lack front sights? Jimmoy 12:48, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
There would be no point in using them, accuracy doesn't really matter in movies, the only reason the gun would be used over M4 or HK is if someone wrote a book where character uses it or it is specifically said in a script and its mentioned that the character uses it by someone in the movie, its a gun that isn't very distinctive so there's really no point in using it, its not like its a handgun that they could get paid for to put on some big character so some crazy fans will buy it, no one can probably buy it, AR's on the other hand. --drakus 11:16, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Front sights are integrated into the rail system. [1] Spartan198 18:01, 12 June 2011 (CDT)
Knight's Armament SR-15
I happened to stumble across this and I have to admit, and apologize for adding more confusion to the mix, but these weapons look just as close to the weapons being used as do the possible REC-7/M468s. http://www.knightarmco.com/images/sr15_1.html --Charon68 00:25, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
For that matter they could also be LWRC M6A2s. http://www.lwrci.com/p-4-m6a2.aspx --Charon68 22:32, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
What ammunition is being used in that thing? Incedary bullets?!!
Chris Evans
I honestly did not recognize this guy. I've watched both Fantastic 4 films and Push several times, but I just did not recognize him. I liked him in this movie though, or at least how he portrayed his character. Wonder how he's going to be as Captain America. --Gunkatas 07:06, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
just saw this today and i really enjoyed it, Just a few Odds n sod from me. Roques main sidearm thru the fim seems to be a kimber, he wins the card game at the opening of the film and thru this obtains the desert eagle from pooch. He is only ever seen using the eagle to threaten Aisha, when it actually comes to him firing pistols he is always using a kimber or a nother 1911 variant. Anyone else think the destructive power fom cougers 7.62 rounds against the armoured cars was a tad ridiculous? - Captain Snikt
Chris evans and pooch both use beretta 92's at one point or another in the film.
WADE's sidearm
I don't think Wade's sidearm is a Colt Mk IV Series 80, mainly because of the slide. It has cocking serrations in both back AND front of the slide. Plus they're slanted. The piece also has a custom/sport trigger. Although I'm not a hundred on that, my best guess is Kimber Stainless Target. Of course it could still be a Series 80, with a custom slide, trigger and grips. -- Warejaws 23:48, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

is there a particular reason the handguns from this scene aren't on this page? http://i29.tinypic.com/2jdq4k2.jpg

This film isn't out on video in North America until July 20th, so any image from it would be a bootleg. --Ben41 07:28, 15 July 2010 (UTC) -- Well, maybe that't the reason the original poster linked it outside this website... :) Warejaws 11:04, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
This bugs me, because i love Taurus revolvers; you need to edit that taurus 44 section because you were right about it being the Taurus 608- count the cylinder's shells, there are 8 of them, its the Taurus 608.
Did anyone else notice that Roque's knife is the same one (or a replica of it) used by Sly Stallone in Rambo III? Spartan198 03:30, 14 June 2011 (CDT)
Best scene in the film
Goes to the scene where they blow up the plane trying to leave by sniping a motorcycle making it explode and fly into the cockpit. Okay, that was cool, there was a big explosion and everything, but here comes the best part. They continue to SNEAK THROUGH THE SHIPYARD AND THEN STEALTH KILL A GUY after they just had a gigantic gunfight and a series of 3 or 4 explosions in a row. Next time you watch this movie, just remember that bit.
No, the best scenes has to be Jensen riding a bike to the Goliath office, pretending to be a delivery boy. All the while, listening to and singing out loud and dancing to Journey. Then him getting caught and running through the cubicles with that same song in the background. He gets cornered by a window and what happens next is the funniest scene in the movie. - And he didnt "stealth kill him", he had no weapon, so he used his hands. -Winchester
Agreed, that was an excellent scene. I cracked up when Jenson smacked the guard with the case. Then, the scene at the elevator is purely and simply...awesome. -SasquatchJim.

Roque's Desert Eagle
On the page it is said that Roque's gun alternates between two-tone and all black. The gun he gambles in the beginning is not his personal gun. I'm pretty sure that, like the revolver, it was taken during a mission. Westernman1987

M203
Jeffrey Dean Morgan's character is actually using the M203A1[2], a variant with a 9" barrel rather than 12" like the original. I have fixed the name. --Jovantheun1337 12:14, 14 March 2011 (CDT)
SR-25
The first screencap of the SR-25 looks interesting: there is no brass deflector, and the selector features auto fire-mode. Anyone has any idea what that is? Airsoft gun maybe? - bozitojugg3rn4ut 13:28, 18 February 2012 (CST)
- As for the full auto on the receiver, as it is painted on rather than stamped, I would guess it is an airsoft gun which generally feature full auto on guns that are meant to be semi due to making them more usefull in games, along with allowing the internal spring to be uncocked (as an analogy, airsoft guns generally work like a regular DA/SA pistol in semi, and like a DAO pistol in auto so the full auto setting is needed to uncock the piston). As for the brass deflector, a similar gun turned up in Castle without a brass deflector which confused me so looked into it, and I believe that the original civilian SR-25 rifles did not have the brass deflector until after the assault weapons ban. I don't know why this is as nothing about having a brass deflector is applicable to the assault weapons ban, but that seems to be the case. --commando552 17:52, 18 February 2012 (CST)
Comparison with the A-Team (2010)
Anyone else think this is a superior film to the A-Team movie? Both have similar themes and characters and the they both end at the L.A. Docks.--The Mercenary 17:39, 18 February 2012 (CST)
