Highlander is a 1986 science fiction fantasy film that stars Christopher Lambert as the titular character, an immortal warrior from Scotland who has been engaging in battle for centuries. The film was directed by Russell Mulcahy and co-starred Sean Connery. Highlander has since gained cult status and would spawn several sequels (including 1991's Highlander II: The Quickening) as well as a popular television series.
