'''Hotline Miami''' is a 2012 action game produced by Dennaton games, and released by Devolver Digital.  The game was influenced by the films ''Cocaine Cowboys'' and ''[[Drive]]''. The game is set in 1989 in Miami, Florida and plays as two protagonists, Jacket and Biker, who have been recieving random phonecalls instructing them to commit massacres against the local Russian Mafia. After a couple of missions, things start to get out of hand, as things start to collapse and Jacket starts to question his sanity. The game is unique for it's retro 16-bit style art style, gratuitous gore, synthwave soundtrack and 1-hit kill system for most AI enemies as well as the player.
