The Marine 3: Homefront is the third film in The Marine film series, which began with 2006's The Marine and was followed by 2009's The Marine 2. The 2013 DTV film stars Mike "The Miz" Mizanin as USMC Sgt. Jake Carter, who upon returning to his hometown, finds himself using his skills to rescue his kidnapped sister from criminal elements. The cast also includes Neal McDonough and Steve Bacic. Mizanin would return as Carter in the next films in the series: 2015's The Marine 4: Moving Target and 2017's The Marine 5: Battleground.
