The DF 37, known under the nickname "Little Brown Jug", is a French fragmentation hand grenade. It was put into service in 1937 together with the OF 37 hand grenade. In 1946, the grenade was modified by using a new explosive filling. The DF 37 was mostly used with the Mle 1935 fuse while the DF 37/46 used both Mle 1935 and the new F3 and F5 fuses, which changes the appearance of the grenade.
Visually, the DF 37 differs from the OF 37 in that the body of the OF 37 consists of two parts, while the DF 37 has a solid body.
