Stalingrad is a 2013 Russian World War II action drama directed by Fyodor Bondarchuk. Set in November 1942, a group of Soviet soldiers take shelter in a damaged apartment building. As the German Army surrounds them, they resolve to protect this building and civilians who live in it at any cost. The cast includes Thomas Kretschmann, who also appeared in a 1993 film of the same name.
The following weapons were used in the film Stalingrad:
Handguns
Tokarev TT-33
Russian officers can be seen armed with the Tokarev TT-33 pistol.
Nagant M1895
Luger P08
Walther P38
Submachine Guns
PPSh-41
PPD-40
MP38
MP40
MP41
At least one German soldier is seen with an MP41.
Erma EMP
A German soldier is shown using an Erma EMP submachine gun. The gun used in the film is actually a Spanish copy in 9x23mm Largo, standing in for a German-issue EMP.
Rifles
Tokarev SVT-40
Mosin Nagant
Mosin Nagant M38 Carbine
Karabiner 98k
Czech vz. 16/33
Mauser 98AZ Artillery Carbine
M43 Spanish Mauser
Mauser Gewehr 1898
Machine Guns
Degtyaryov DP-27
MG34
MG34 Panzerlauf
MG42
The MG42 is used by German soldiers. While the MG42 actually saw limited use at Stalingrad, the movie's depiction commits the common error of showing the weapon with the post 1943 vertical charging handle instead of the period-appropriate and rare slab-sided horizontal handle.
Maxim MG08
A Maxim MG08 is seen mounted on a Russian boat's wheelhouse.
