Allow me to mention two things that I am not sure you are aware of. First, please sign/datestamp your posts. You can do that pretty easily by ticking the 'writing pencil' when you're done with a post (but have not send it yet), or alternatively ticking the '~' symbol 4 times. Also, you may want to use the new template for page headers with an infobox (so incl. stuff as director, actor listing and national flag). Hi MattSalleh!
I think I can help you in identifying the rifles used in Wolf Creek by Mick Taylor.
In the long distance sniping scene he uses a Tikka 595, probably in 308 Winchester caliber.
This can be identified from the detachable box magazine and angular receiver that can be seen in the photos.
Also the .22lr rifle that he uses in the earlier scene is not a Remington 700 because Remington 700's have never been made in .22lr. It could be Australian made Sportco rifle or a CZ rifle, both popular with Aussie shooters. If it is a Remington rifle it could be a Remington 547 Classic, they are a lovely rifle but not as common. It's a bit hard to tell from the photo's though. I am certain about the Tikka 595 though.
I hope I have been a help.

Ozzie movies
First of all welcome to IMFDB! I am Dutch, have travelled in Australia, and saw your remark about Australian movies. One of the first movies I did for IMFDB (Heaven's Burning) is Australian and when you check 'Category:Australian Produced/Filmed' you will see that a lot of ground seems to have been covered already. Looking forward to what you can share with us from Down Under, feel free to contact me on my TalkPage if you have any questions, PeeWee055 (talk) 06:13, 4 December 2013 (EST)
Thanks! My Dad was actually born in Amsterdam, migrated to Australia in the 60's, so I'm a half Dutch Australian who currently lives in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. It seems the US movies get done pretty quickly (and well) by other users and I don't mind doing the occasional obscure movie that's missed out. All the best.
Re. Thanks!
Good to see you're trying to focus on Australian movies. I myself try to 'promote' Dutch movies, especially in the last few years there's been an increase in good quality Dutch action movies. Best examples, in my humble opinion, are The Preacher and The Heineken Kidnapping, both based on true events and created by me for IMFDB.

G'day
Hi MattSalleh!
Regards, Mikeappletree
