Liberation: Direction of the Main Blow(Russian Title: Osvobozhdenie: Napravlenie Glavnogo Udara/Освобождение: Направление главного удара) is a 1969 Russian/East German/Polish World War II drama directed by Yuri Ozerov. It's a third part of five-part film series. Direction of the Main Blow focusing on one of the major Eastern Front campaign: Operation Bagration (the codename for the Soviet 1944 Belorussian Strategic Offensive Operation, which cleared German forces from the Belorussian SSR and eastern Poland in Summer 1944). Also shown attempt of assassinate Adolf Hitler (also known as Operation Valkyrie).

Liberation is the most large-scale World War II film ever made in the Soviet Union.
