Beginning his acting career by dubbing Asian films, he has appeared in such television series such as Perry Mason, Bonanza, the original Hawaii Five-0, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., I Spy, and Kung Fu. His notable film roles include Khan in Chinatown, Hannibal Chew in Blade Runner, David Lo Pan in Big Trouble in Little China, and Gong Gong in Everything Everywhere All at Once.
