The [[Mauser SP66]] is a German sniper rifle produced by [[Mauser]]. The SP66 was designed with both the military and law enforcement as well as target shooting market in mind. It features a walnut thumbhole stock that can be adjusted for user comfort and a proprietary muzzle brake to reduce recoil. The bolt-action is unlike a typical Mauser action and is notable for its short stroke that allows for rapid follow-up shots. The rifle was utilized by various police forces primarily in Europe and was notably used by the Israeli armed forces as well. It was succeeded by the [[Mauser 86 SR]].
