'''''Detroit 1-8-7''''' was | '''''Detroit 1-8-7''''' was an American police procedural that aired on the ABC Network for one season from 2010 to 2011. The series followed the homicide department of the Detroit Police Department, and with the exception of the pilot, was shot on location in Detroit. The show suffered from low ratings and was cancelled in the spring of 2011.
The series title actually refers to the California Penal Code designation for homicide, which has since been adopted in popular culture as slang for murder. In reality, the Michigan Compiled Law (MCL) Chapter dealing with crimes, including murder, is MCL Chapter 750. The series aired on ABC for 18 episodes from 2010-2011.

Detroit 1-8-7 was an American police procedural that aired on the ABC Network for one season from 2010 to 2011.
