Memories (1995)

Memories is a three-part anthology film from Katsuhiro Otomo (the director of Akira and Steamboy) consisting of three separate stories; Magnetic Rose, Stink Bomb, and Cannon Fodder.

Magnetic Rose is a sci-fi story about the discovery of a Mary Celeste-like spacecraft in a space graveyard, adrift and seemingly abandoned. It contains no real firearms.

Stink Bomb is a comical story of a hapless lab technician who, mistaking experimental pills for cold medicine, becomes a living weapon of mass destruction. He finds himself the target of increasingly excessive attacks from the JGSDF as he tries to escape the contamination, unaware that he himself is the source.

Cannon Fodder is a day in the life of a family in a dystopian city-state where all activities revolve around the firing of gigantic artillery guns at an unseen and quite possibly non-existent "moving city" hidden behind a bank of mist. While weapons that appear are based on real-life railroad guns, it contains no personal firearms.

The following weapons were used in Stink Bomb segment of the anime film anthology Memories:
