Prison Break is an American television drama series that follows two brothers: Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) who has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), a structural engineer who believes in his brother's innocence and gets himself incarcerated in the same prison in order to hatch an audacious plan to get them both out. The series was originally broadcast on the Fox Broadcasting Company and aired for four seasons from 2005 until 2009. The cast would be reunited for Prison Break: The Final Break, a television film that premiered on FOX in 2009, and then for a fifth season as a limited "event" series in 2017.
