The series, whose cast included Donnie Wahlberg, Mykelti Williamson, and Neal McDonough, was created by Graham Yost, the writer/producer whose credits include Speed, Band of Brothers, The Pacific and who subsequently created the series Justified (several Boomtown cast members would make appearances in the latter series).
