==Remember all Flintlocks are not rifles==
Rifles only refer to rifled barrels. Many of the longs guns "Brown Bess" "French Charleville Musket - 1766 Model Flintlock", etc were all SMOOTHBORE Long guns, there was no rifling at all in their barrels. When in doubt use the term Flintlock or perhaps Flintlock long guns, but it looks weird when the term rifle is used and the gun is later identified to be a smooth bore musket. :) MoviePropMaster2008 19:20, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

::Actually, that wasn't a flintlock. It was a Civil War era Springfield 1861 (or possibly an 1855, but you can't tell without a better look at the lock), and it's a percussion lock. Flintlocks have a big flash pan and striking surface ("frizzen") in front of the "hammer" (actually called the cock) which has big vice grips for a actual piece of flint. - Nyles

| |||
This is not a Beretta 92; it has the slide-mounted safety/decocker. Therefore, it's either a Beretta 92SB or a 92F. -MT2008 13:04, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
:I'd go with 92SB, season 5 aired in '86, the 92F was released in '85 and filming is usually a few months prior to airing. It looks to me like it has wood grips which is sometimes seen on the 92F's but more on the SB and older 92's. --Predator20 13:25, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

The FN FAL entry on the page says that the FALs are being used by the Italian Navy in the episode "Judgment Day, Pt. 2" because the Beretta BM59 was unavailable in the U.S. Actually, a civilian version of the BM59 was released in the U.S., and our page for Miami Vice - Season 2 documents a BM59 appearance, which would suggest that movie armorers purchased some of them. I am guessing that in the case of The A-Team, the problem was simply that the armorers couldn't get a BM59 at the time the episode was filmed. -MT2008 08:50, 22 June 2011 (CDT)

== M1 Carbine == | |||
Recently, I started watching episodes of the "The A-Team" on Hulu. In season one, episode eleven, ("One More Time") it seemed to me that many of the guerrillas in Borneo were armed with M1 carbines. Some of the M1 carbines in this episode had bayonet lugs, while some others did not, and a few of them had those rod-like Owens telescopic stocks.
I noticed that the M1 carbine is missing from the list of rifles on the main page. Could somebody please add this one? Thanks! --Kepiblanc 10:26, 19 December 2011 (CST)

:Yes, three of the guerrillas in this still frame appear to be armed with M1 carbines. The guerrilla furthest to the right appears to be armed an M1 carbine which has a bayonet lug, while the guerrilla second from the left appears to be armed an M1 carbine which does not have a bayonet lug. The guerrilla in between these two appears to be armed with an M1 carbine which has an Owens telescopic stock. The guerrilla furthest to the left appears to be armed with some other type of rifle that I cannot quite identify from this angle. --Kepiblanc 10:36, 19 December 2011 (CST) |

Hannibal used a nickel S&W Auto? Huh? Is someone mistaking a Browning Hi-Power for a S&W or is this some other gun he might have used at some point (the Hi-Power was his go to sidearm) that is being referred to?
- Hannibal carried a chrome S&W 639(or 39) in his waist band or holster but when he's shown shooting a hand gun its nearly always a Browning HP. But because of the rivalry between Peppard and Mr. T, Peppard is the only actor seen using an M60 machine gun while Mr. T is seen to be using the chrome S&W auto.--The Mercenary 18:07, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Maybe you guys should rewatch the series. They still show it in my city. At the beginnnig of the series, Hannibal carrid a Browning Hi-Power, later on, he switches to a Smith & Wesson 63p. B.A. carried a full sized Star handgun, not sure of the exact model.
About Done
I finished adding the weapons featured in Seasons 2, 3 and 4. I´ll add those missing from Seasons 1 and 5 tomorrow if I get around to it. There is still the one revolver at the bottom of this discussion page to identify.
Alright. This is almost it. The UZI carbine still needs a screencap and I got two more weapons which have to be identified. I will add them to the bottom of this page later. -- User:Milkovich 10:50, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Just tried to replace one of the old screencaps, but the site wont let me. -- User:Milkovich 18:51, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Unknown Smith & Wesson
Hannibal used a nickel S&W Classic auto for almost the whole show...it may have been a 539, but I don't know.
Given the difficulty determining single or double stack, the following could have been his S&W pistol:
Model 439 Model 539 Model 639 Model 459 Model 559 Model 659
- No, it was definitely a single-stack model. The way you can tell the difference is by looking for the bulges in the frame (represented by vertical lines) that indicate where the frame was widened to take a double-stack magazine. If it doesn't have those, it's a single-stack model, and Hannibal's gun definitely didn't have them. I'm pretty sure it was a 539.
unknown B.A. handgun
Anyone know what this weapon is?--Ben41 09:17, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Discussion moved here, updates to Mini 14 section will be forthcoming
Correction. During The A-Team series they did not use GB (Government Bayonet/Barrel) models as a rule. Some of the bad guys did from time to time and in the episode Trouble On Wheels the Team actually had AC-556 GB models mounted to the side of the car they built. Also in Bounty the team mounted 2 AC-556F shortys in BA's van. There are also other instances where the bad guys used Ruger Mini 14 and AC-556 GB models. The stainless factory folders the team used were simply basic Mini 14s with regular barrels on them. They had Federal Ordnance flash suppresors on them. People keep thinking they were GB models and they were not. They did not have the bayonet lug mount and they had standard front sights. Again they are simiple Federal Ordnance flash suppressors. See picture. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/PDVD_006.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/8.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/4.jpg In the second season the team also had nickel plated Federal Ordnance handguards on them as well. Again notice the standard Mini 14 barrel with Federal Ordnance flash suppresor. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/maltese1.jpg In season 3 through 5 they had the regular black Black Ruger ventilated handguards on them. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/at9.jpg Here is a picture of my 2 Ruger Mini 14 rifles decked out in exact A-Team configuration. Both Mini 14s have the exact Federal Ordnance flash suppresors on them and the season 2 replica also has the Federal Ordnance handguard and the other had the standard Ruger black handguard. The other Ruger is my AC-556F seen in BA's van in the Bounty episode. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/5150rob/DSC01115.jpg

- Added it. If someone can tell the calibre from the bore, please add it. --Milkovich 16:53, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
Type 99?
The assassin in "Alive at Five" uses another rifle that can be disassembled. It doesn't look like the Arisaka on the page , though.

Star M28?
Used throughout Season 5.
--Milkovich 17:32, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- Added. Not sure if It's really a M28, since there seem to be only minimal visual differencs between the 28/30/31 models. --Milkovich 12:12, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
Modified M79
The sights configuration bears a striking resemblance to the M79. --Milkovich 14:07, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
Colt Government Model M1911A1
I am only going from the outward appearance here. --Milkovich 09:35, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
- That's what I would classify them as, they are likely Series 70, but the Series 80 were around at time also.--Predator20 19:07, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
- "Absolute confirmation on the exact model is not possible, since the original Colt Government Model, Colt MK IV Series 70 and Colt MK IV Series 80 were all available at the time of filming (1983 to 1987).". Thus far I have seen it in Season 2 and 4. --Milkovich 20:49, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Ruger Redhawk
One of Styles's henchmen in "The Trouble with Harry", Season 4, uses a Ruger Redhawk.
Is this correct? I am basing this mostly on the front sight. I cant really tell the rounds used by the muzzle diameter, so some confirmation would be welcome. --Milkovich 18:17, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
- Unless there's shot of the cylinder release, Redhawk is a good assumption. --Predator20 19:05, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Unknown Revolver
--Milkovich 13:43, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- Looking at the Model 29 he held in S2, I would go with Model 19. But the different barrel lengths could be throwing me off. --Predator20 19:27, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- Smith & Wesson Model 66? --Milkovich 20:02, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- It looks too shiny to be stainless, so I figured a nickel Model 19. Stainless unless it's been polished is dull.--Predator20 21:45, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- Smith & Wesson Model 66? --Milkovich 20:02, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
Unidentified Dart Gun
--Milkovich 13:43, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- Is it ever seen firing? The orange tip implies it's a toy. Vangelis2 08:16, 23 March 2011 (CDT)
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dart_gun. I hate having to use wikipedia as a source. --Milkovich 05:17, 24 March 2011 (CDT)
- Oh, they usually call those sucker guns over here. Vangelis2 00:34, 9 April 2011 (CDT)
M203, Cobray?
Or just another mock-up?
It makes a reappearance in "The Trouble with Harry".
--Milkovich 16:42, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- Checked again. Looks closer to the Cobray than the M203. The tube isn't long enough for it to be the faux launcher. --Milkovich 07:35, 23 March 2011 (CDT)
Winchester Model 1897 ?
--Milkovich 17:07, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- Oh yeah definitely. --Predator20 19:29, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- Added. Any idea why they would put tape on them like that? --Milkovich 20:06, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
Over and Under Shotgun
I checked the additional variants on the Double Barreled Shotgun talk page, and the only one that matches at least partially is this one:

Smith & Wesson 915
I can't be a 915, it wasn't introduced until '92 and wasn't available in stainless either. I think it's just a 639 with fixed sights, versus the adjustable seen on the others.--Predator20 07:53, 30 March 2011 (CDT)
- Really? Damn. I never wanted to go beyond 4 screenshots per firearm, but I guess the ones currently filed under the 915 would have to be moved. --Milkovich 09:40, 30 March 2011 (CDT)
- Since it's one of the lead actors, you can break that rule.--Predator20 10:14, 30 March 2011 (CDT)
Crossbow
Thought I'd be a nice addition to the article. If we can't figure it out I'll just add it as "Crossbow". --Milkovich Error creating thumbnail: File missing 03:44, 17 May 2011 (CDT)
"A Small and Deadly War" Revolver and rifle
My only guess right now is a Smith & Wesson Model 10. --Milkovich Error creating thumbnail: File missing 03:35, 22 June 2011 (CDT)
- Mine too.--Predator20 06:27, 22 June 2011 (CDT)

Star Model B?
--Milkovich Error creating thumbnail: File missing 03:45, 22 June 2011 (CDT)
- Yes definitely, look at the extractor.--Predator20 06:25, 22 June 2011 (CDT)
- Sort of sad that you can't distinguish between the Model B and the 1911 if you only have a left side view. I have the feeling that this particular weapon had a lot more appearances than this one. --Milkovich Error creating thumbnail: File missing 06:51, 22 June 2011 (CDT)
Beretta BM59
- Thanks for the information. And my apologies for putting the Thompson in the wrong category. --Milkovich Error creating thumbnail: File missing 09:00, 22 June 2011 (CDT)
"Holiday in the Hills" rifle

Beretta 92? 951?
Certainly one of the briefest appearances of a pistol on The A-Team. --Milkovich Error creating thumbnail: File missing 03:51, 23 June 2011 (CDT)
- Compared it to various images of the M951 and it matches up perfectly as far as I can tell. Added to the article. --Milkovich Error creating thumbnail: File missing 06:05, 5 July 2011 (CDT)
Ingram SMG
The picture with Murdock holding the SMG cant be an Ingram. It looks nothing like the Ingram Model 6. Too small of a reciever and too big of a barrel, also it looks like it has a Thompson SMG stock. Gunner5
M1 Carbine
Recently, I started watching episodes of the "The A-Team" on Hulu. In season one, episode eleven, ("One More Time") it seemed to me that many of the guerrillas in Borneo were armed with M1 carbines. Some of the M1 carbines in this episode had bayonet lugs, while some others did not, and a few of them had those rod-like Owens telescopic stocks.
I noticed that the M1 carbine is missing from the list of rifles on the main page. Could somebody please add this one? Thanks! --Kepiblanc 10:26, 19 December 2011 (CST)
You mean these? --Milkovich Error creating thumbnail: File missing 02:46, 19 December 2011 (CST)
- Yes, three of the guerrillas in this still frame appear to be armed with M1 carbines. --Kepiblanc 10:36, 19 December 2011 (CST)
