The Big Bounce is a 1969 crime film starring Ryan O'Neal as Jack, a Vietnam veteran and laborer who finds himself entangled in a love triangle and a robbery plot involving a wealthy businessman and his mistress. The film was a feature film adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Elmore Leonard and one of the author's very first to ever be adapted. A second adaptation starring Owen Wilson, Gary Sinise, and Morgan Freeman was released in 2004.

Colt Detective Special (Nickel)
Nancy Barker (Leigh Taylor-Young) finds a nickel-plated Colt Detective Special in a glove compartment. She is seen later emptying the revolver on someone during a confrontation.
