Sacred is an action role-playing game developed by Ascaron Entertainment company and released in 2004, followed with Sacred 2: Fallen Angel prequel in 2008.
Several firearms, usable for Dwarf character, were added by the Sacred Underworld expansion pack (2005). All usable weapons have infinite ammunition and don't need reloading, they don't have animations of their details working (e.g. the hammers on any weapon but revolver are always cocked and don't move, the cylinders or barrels do not rotate, the character doesn't pull the trigger). Handguns, while using character's ability called "Wrath", can fire five shots in auto mode, with the character even holding it "gangsta-style". They can be can be used with shields, even if they are clearly modeled as two-handed weapons, but none of them can be dual-wielded, though. A sort of wick cannon can also be used by the Dwarf, carried on his back, in modes of flamethrower, mortar cannon, and a simple cannon, again using some magical abilities (namely "Flame Thrower", "Mortar Grenade" and "Cannon Blast"). None of the enemies or NPCs are ever seen wielding or using the firearms.
For a purpose of illustrating, some screenshots were taken using Sacred NL mod with English texts, which allows for a much higher zoom, since in the original game it is pretty hard to notice all the details.
The following weapons appear in the video game Sacred:
Usable Firearms
Colt Python-Style Revolver
A revolver that loosely resembles Colt Python can be used by Dwarf character. It has an unrealistically thick extractor rod. Its look is surprisingly modern even for other weapons used by the Dwarf, based on weapons of the late XIX century and even later.
Fantasy Twin Barreled Pistol
The Dwarf can use a flintlock double-barreled pistol. The hammers on this weapon are always magically cocked. Apparently, this weapon was not based off any real example.
Fantasy Pepperbox
A sort of fantasy pepperbox or turnover pistol with six barrels can be used by the Dwarf. It has no trigger guard.
Fantasy Blunderbuss
An obviously fantasy variant of a blunderbuss can be used. It has an exaggerated hammer and muzzle and no trigger guard, and for some reason, its buttstock looks like it was covered with tape.
Fantasy Revolving Flintlock Musket
The player can find a musket that looks like a mix of flintlock muskets and some revolving rifles (although some turnover muskets have been produced in very small numbers in early XVII century, see Pervusha Isaev's guns as an example). It has a cylinder behind the hammer and the trigger, normally such a weapon should not be able to fire with this modification.
Side-By-Side Double Barreled Shotgun
Another weapon that can be used by the Dwarf character is a Double Barreled Shotgun. While using the "Wrath" ability, this gun can fire five shots in automatic mode. The shotgun needs only one hand to operate so the Dwarf can carry a shield and fire the gun at the same time.
Wick Cannon
The Dwarf carries a wick cannon that can be used as a weapon.
Unusable Firearms
Flintlock Pistol
When a character is firing at someone, a cursor in the form of a Flintlock Pistol appears. Its image can also be seen on the icons of magic spells "Flame Thrower", "Mortar Grenade" and "Cannon Blast", used for firing the cannon that the Dwarf wears on his back.
Unknown revolver
An unknown revolver can be partially seen in a holster in one variants of Dwarf’s bag. It is a not-usable weapon, and the Dwarf never even touches it.
Heckler & Koch USP Match
Among the textures in the texture.pak file, there is the unused file AJ_TEST.tga, which actually is a poster from the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider movie, featuring Angelina Jolie with a Heckler & Koch USP Match. The name suggests it was a leftover never intended for proper usage in-game.
Near N'Aguali shore and Pirate islands, some ships with mounted naval cannons can be seen. These are merely tiles and cannot be interacted with in any way.
