==Rifles== | |||
===Bushmaster ACR=== | |||
Operators of the Armed Reaction Teams, the Initiative's military and action arm, use a modified, fictional variant of the Bushmaster ACR as their primary weapon. The most notable modification is the addition of an integral suppressor. The ACRs are most frequently seen with a variety of optics and angled foregrips. In dialogue, the weapon is referred to as the "Mk. 3 Adaptive Operations Rifle". Background material for the Lifted Veil universe reveals that, as the name may suggest, it is the third standard-issue service rifle of the Initiative, although other firearms are frequently used as the situation calls for it. The first "Adaptive Operations Rifle" is based on the FN FAL and the second is based on the Steyr AUG. The ACR is most prominently seen in the hands of multiple Armed Reaction Team operators who take part in the final battle.

=Warhammer: Age of Metal=
(Something a little different- a fanfiction by me set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battle setting, set in an alternate universe where the End Times that destroyed the Warhammer World did not happen. In this setting, 250 years after the last great war against the Forces of Chaos, the Empire has advanced from approximately mid-16th century levels of technological development to technology levels similar to that of the 1910s-1920s- with all the changes to society and culture that come with it. As with many other elements of Warhammer Fantasy, the firearms and other weapons used by the Empire and other Human nations in this era are heavily inspired by weapons that existed during the real early 20th centuries- with some exceptions.)
250 years after the so-called "End Times", the World endures. While dark creatures and twisted powers scheme and plot, the Men of the Empire stand firm and resolute. Lacking the raw strength or magical aptitude of their foes, mankind's answer has been the forces of industry, science, and technology. It is a new age, a new time. While old foes gather once again, humanity stands ready to show them the future of warfare.
==Pistols== | |||
===Colt M1911=== | |||
The Landerson Manufacturing Griffon 45 is a semi-automatic pistol that is largely based on the original Colt M1911. Chambered in the potent .45 LSL (Landerson Self-Loading) cartridge, it is one of the most widely-manufactured pistols in the Empire and enjoys great popularity among civilians who can afford one. In the Imperial Army, it is one of the handguns commissioned officers and NCOs may choose as an issued sidearm and is privately purchased by enlisted men as well. The Griffon 45 is also widely exported to the nations of the Old World as well. A licensed copy of the pistol is manufactured in the United Provinces of Tilea, where it is the standard sidearm of the United Provinces Army and Marine Corps. Various unlicensed copies and derivative designs are manufactured across the Old World.
(Landerson Manufacturing, their products, and much of their history, borrows heavily from Colt's Manufacturing Company.)
| |||
===Colt Model 1903=== | |||
The predecessor to the Landerson Griffon 45, the Landerson Manufacturing Model CA is based on the Colt Model 1903. Popular on the civilian market, the Model CA was never widely used in military service due to the .32 Self-Loading cartridge being considered too weak to reliably put down many of the fell creatures encountered by the Imperial Army. It is, however, used frequently by troops who primarily engage Human threats, like Norscan Marauders, Chaos Cultists, and bandits. It is one of the sidearms authorized for use by the Altdorf Police Department.
| |||
===Baby Browning=== | |||
The Drakon Arms Stinger is a popular concealed carry option. These can be found in the waistcoats and pocketbooks of many a citizen of Altdorf, Nuln, and Middenheim. Based on the Baby Browning and other contemporary pocket pistols.
| |||
===Bergmann-Bayard===
The Holtz Company Outrider is an early semi-automatic pistol based on the Bergmann-Bayard. A novel design when it first hit the civilian market, they have since fallen out of favor for more modern designs. Second-hand Outriders can be found in most decent gun stores and will do a satisfactory, if not particularly exemplary, job of protecting its wielder from man-sized threats.
| |||
===Borchardt C-93=== | |||
Once revolutionary, the Craven & Hayes T5 Automatic has been mostly relegated to a cheap self-defense option found on the second-hand market. It is still potent and a fine combat pistol, one preferred by residents of the Imperial boondocks who can afford one over the traditional six-shooters. It is based on the Borchardt C-93.
| |||
===Frommer Stop=== | |||
Another offering by the Holtz Company, the Imperial Defender Model is a popular self-defense option based on the Frommer Stop.
| |||
===FN M1903=== | |||
The Drakon Arms M66 pistol is based on the FN M1903. The M66 is frequently encountered on the civilian market. It is also used by Imperial law enforcement and militia in some of the wealthier provinces.
| |||
===Luger P08=== | |||
For many in the Imperial Army, the gold standard of sidearms is the Bellum Model 9. Based upon the Luger P08, the Model 9 is so named for the cartridge it was designed for, 9mm Imperial, a cartridge rapidly gaining popularity across the Old World. It is one of the authorized officer's sidearms and also a popular choice for civilians.
| |||
===Mauser C96=== | |||
The Cossmann-Werk R18 self-loading pistol is, nowadays, somewhat archaic compared to modern semi-automatic pistol offerings. Despite this, it remains extremely popular throughout the Old World and is frequently carried on an unofficial basis by the men and women of the Imperial Army. It is based on the Mauser C96. As with its real-world counterpart, it can be used with a detachable shoulder stock, which doubles as a holster. Due to its popularity, Cossmann-Werk has recently introduced detachable-magazine fed models to modernize the popular design (based on the Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer, minus the full-automatic capability), as well as a conversion kit allowing for owners to convert their clip-loading pistols into detachable magazine-fed models.

===Steyr M1912=== | |||
The Thalmann Armory P.02 Repeating Pistol is a semi-automatic pistol hailing from the province of Ostland. As such, it is extensively used by law enforcement in Ostland and by its militia, but is encountered rather infrequently across the rest of the Empire. Ostlanders like to claim it is the finest pistol ever made, of course. It is based on the Steyr M1912.
| |||
==Revolvers== | |||
===Colt Single Action Army===
The Landerson Peacebringer, like the Colt Single Action Army it is inspired by, was an immediate success when it was introduced to the market. It was soon adopted by the Imperial Army as their standard sidearm and served faithfully for years. While nowadays displaced by various double-action revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, it remains an extremely common sight across the Empire and beyond. Expect to see the Peacebringer in the holsters of everyone from Averland cattlemen to Nordland Coast Watch officers. Rugged and reliable, the Peacebringer is known for its stopping power, provided by its .45 Landerson Centrefire cartridge.
| |||
===Colt New Army & Navy===
Another Landerson product, the New Army Special revolver was made to replace the Peacebringer. This also required lowering the caliber to the less powerful .38 Long Landerson. This decline in stopping power led the Imperial Army to request a new semi-automatic pistol, leading to the development of the Griffon 45. The New Army Special enjoys a second life as a quick-firing sidearm on the civilian market, and can be found in most good gun stores for a handful of Crowns. Based on the Colt New Army & Navy.
| |||
===Colt New Service===
Developed for the modern law enforcer in mind, the Landerson Police Model sees much service in the Empire's cities. Rural sheriff's departments tend to prefer the Peacebringer, however. It is based on the Colt New Service.
| |||
===Colt 1878 Double Action===
An early double-action revolver from Landerson, the M737 Swift was never quite as popular as its single-action forerunner, a fact that echoes the real history of its real-world inspiration, the Colt 1878 Double Action.
| |||
===Harrington & Richardson Premier===
The Mortenson & Sons Model 13 revolver can be found in mail-order catalogs or sporting goods stores across the Empire, and is a reasonably good self-defense piece. Just don't expect to be killing Chaos Warriors with it. Based on the Harrington & Richardson Premier.
| |||
===Iver Johnson Safety Automatic===
Cheap, plentiful, and reasonably able to put down most man-sized attackers eventually, the Meissen Arms Auto Revolver is a common sight in both cities and provincial towns. Small enough to comfortably conceal, it is popular with shopkeepers and tavern owners looking for discreet personal protection, as well as average citizens in both urban and rural areas. Of course, its commonality means it is frequently encountered in the hands of less savory individuals. Based on the Iver Johnson Safety Automatic.
| |||
===Mle 1892=== | |||
Grismerie River Armory, the state-run manufacturer of firearms in the Republic of Parravon, manufacturers the standard sidearm of the Parravonese Army- the Rapier Double-Action. Not uncommon in the border regions with Parravon, it is much less common elsewhere. Based on the Mle 1892.
| |||
===Nagant M1895=== | |||
Erengrad State Arsenal, Kislev's state-owned military arms plant, manufacturers a variety of the weapons to arm Kislev's vast Army of the North. Among the most common products churned out from the forges of Erengrard is the Ursus Revolver, appropriately based on the Nagant M1895. A solid, rugged piece, the Ursus is famed for simplicity and reliability in the face of the harshest conditions the steppe and tundra of the north can provide. The standard issue sidearm of Kislev's military and police forces, the Ursus is also widely exported to the Empire.
| |||
===Reichsrevolver M1883===
Originally produced by Altdorf Arsenal as a sidearm for the Reikland Provincial Milita, the Franz-Bromme M10 revolver proved to be an ill-fated venture. While firing a robust cartridge, it was found to be very clunky and slow to reload and fire. Militia forces who found the revolver foisted upon them usually sold them secondhand to buy a Peacebringer. These can now be found for quite cheap across Reikland and Wissenland. It's better than fighting with your bare fists, at least. Based on the Reichsrevolver M1883.
| |||
===Smith & Wesson Schofield===
The Aquila Company of the United Provinces of Tilea is rapidly asserting itself as a major manufacturer of quality arms in the Old World. Their sales are starting to rival even the Imperial powerhouse of manufacturing that is Landerson. The Aquila Myrmidian is among their most popular products and competes with the Landerson Peacebringer to be the most popular single-action revolver in the Old World. Based on the Smith & Wesson Schofield, the Myrmidian is a solid and reliable sidearm. Lacking the raw stopping power of the Peacebringer, the Myrmidian makes up for it with a fast rate of fire and quick reload thanks to its top-break cylinder.
| |||
===Smith & Wesson Model 10===
A more modern offering from Aquila, the Republica revolver is a popular piece across the Old World. A frequently encountered sidearm of Tilean police and military forces, it based on the Smith & Wesson Model 10. Anywhere Tileans are known to do business is almost guaranteed to have Republicas on hand for sale- so that is to say, it's a pretty common sight in cities and towns from the Southlands to the coasts of Norsca.
| |||
===Smith & Wesson M1917===
When the United Provinces Marine Corps asked for a harder-hitting revolver to better put down inhuman, Chaos-touched, or just plain drugged-up foes, Aquila Company responded with this stout revolver which fires .45 Landerson Self-Loading: the Arbalest revolver, based on the Smith & Wesson M1917. A recent addition to Aquila's catalog, the Arbalest is only recently trickling into the most well-equipped stores in Altdorf and Nuln.

===Webley Mk VI=== | |||
A joint design between the state gunsmiths of Talabecland and Ostland, the imaginatively named Revolver, Mark 4 is a sidearm encountered fairly often in the eastern marches of the Empire. It is based on the Webley Mk VI. Outside of the Provincial Militia forces of Talabecland, Ostland, and Stirland, it is not a sidearm seen too frequently on the civilian market. It does, however, have its passionate supporters, who claim the Mark 4 is superior to the famed Landerson Peacebringer and even superior to semi-automatics like the Bellum Model 9.

===Double-Barreled Shotgun===
Existing in innumerable shapes, sizes, and configurations, the humble double-barreled shotgun is a popular weapon throughout the Empire, Tilea, Kislev, the Border Princes, and beyond. Easily obtainable from virtually any sporting goods store or local trader, a double-barreled shotgun can be anything from a simple, cheap exposed-hammer model that fires black powder shells to finely finished, custom made models fit for an Elector Count. While primarily for sporting purposes, double-barreled shotguns are often pressed into service to defend a rural homestead. When Provincial Militia forces muster, expect more than a few men and women to arrive toting their personal hunting shotguns, some of which may be family heirlooms!

===Single-Barreled Shotgun===
The even simpler and cheaper cousin of the double-barreled shotgun is the single-barreled shotgun. If simplicity, reliability, and ease of use is a concern, it's hard to go simpler than one of these. They are obviously even less suited for combat than a double-barreled shotgun, but as always, it's better than nothing. Just hope whatever foe you're facing can be put down in one shot. Also hope that any friends they may have are inspired to run away after one shot.

===Browning Auto-5===
Blackwood Repeating Arms of Luccini, Tilea has begun making a name for themselves through the production of novel and advanced firearm designs. This is exemplified in the Blackwood Razorback Automatic, the world's first semi-automatic repeating shotgun. Based on the Browning Auto-5, this shotgun is becoming popular for military use throughout Tilea and the Empire. The famed Nuln Ironsides are known to use a specially commissioned variant with a heat shield and bayonet lug to support their assault tactics.

===Remington Model 10===
Also hailing from Tilea, Tiberius Arms is the largest manufacturer of rifles and shotguns in the United Provinces of Tilea, with many products frequently exported to the Empire and beyond. One of its most popular products is the Model 6 Venator, based on the Remington Model 10. A long-barreled version is popular for hunting, while the shorter barreled "Sweeper" model is frequently used by Tilean police and military.

===Sjögren=== | |||
The sole product of the small Johansson Hunting Arms company of Ostermark, the Sybil Inertial Repeating Shotgun is a niche semi-automatic hunting arm its users swear by. These shotguns are known to sometimes make an appearance in the hands of Imperial Army personnel, always on an unofficial basis. It is based on the Sjögren shotgun.

===Stevens Model 520===
A.C. Ullmer & Sons of Wissenland primarily makes its money selling custom-made hunting shotguns and game loads. In recent years, the company has decided to make and market a mass-produced hunting and defensive shotgun- the Model 99. Lauded by some as the most advanced pump-action shotgun in existence, it has seen some interest among Imperial police forces. Based on the Stevens Model 520

===Winchester Model 1887===
An early foray into the field of repeating shotguns, the Aver Ironworks Bulldog utilizes a lever-action system similar to A.I.'s famous lever-action repeating rifles. While designed for now outdated black powder shells, it is still found in less developed regions, favored by some over more modern weapons for its potent 10 gauge shells. Based on the Winchester Model 1887.

===Winchester Model 1897===
The Aver Ironworks Garrison was not the world's first pump-action shotgun, but it certainly is the most widely produced and utilized. Found in all corners of the Empire and beyond, the Garrison is available in numerous configurations to suit everything from hunting, to competition, to combat. Based on the Winchester Model 1897.

===Winchester Model 1912===
The Garrison remains extremely popular, but Aver Ironworks has officially released a successor model: the Stronghold. Featuring an internal hammer and refined extractor and loading mechanism, the Stronghold builds upon the successes of the Garrison. The Garrison remains in production, with Stronghold production numbers and users not quite reaching the level of its predecessor for the time being. Based on the Winchester Model 1912.

===Bergmann MP18=== | |||
Nuln, the Empire's city of industry and advancement, is responsible for paving the way for more advanced weapons and equipment to equip the Imperial Army. Originally a satellite facility of the legendary Imperial Gunnery School of Nuln, the Imperial Institute of Ballistic Sciences is an institution dedicated to researching and developing small arms and cartridges, in contrast to the artillery and field gun focus of the Gunnery School. Their latest product, the Self-Loading Sub-Machine Carbine, Mark II is new and untested, but has the potential to change the face of warfare. While lacking the firepower of a rifle, this remarkable weapon allows an individual soldier to wield the devastating rate of fire of a machine gun in a light, easy to control package, perfect for taking on large groups of foes at close range. Other nations have taken notice and have begun to research their own designs. The Mark II Sub-Machine Carbine has heralded the rise of a new type of weapon- the "submachine gun". The only combat users of this weapon so far are the Nuln Ironsides and a few assault infantry companies. It is based on the Bergmann MP18.

===Revelli-Beretta===
Not looking to be outdone, the United Provinces of Tilea has recently begun fielding their own submachine gun in limited quantities- the Automatico M1, produced by the Valle Ferro company, a manufacturer of pistols for the United Provinces Army. It is rumored to be based on trade secrets acquired from Nuln through less than official means. It is based on the Revelli-Beretta.

===Standschütze Hellriegel 1915===
A joint project between the province of Ostermark and Kislev, the Hesse-Kolovin Type I(n) is a heavy submachine gun, envisioned as a true hybrid between a stationary machine gun and automatic infantry weapon. It is designed to use 50 or 100 round drum magazines and used in coordination with rifle-armed infantry to support assault tactics or infantry advances. While a novel design, it contains some teething issues and remains as a limited production prototype for the time being. It is based, visually at least, on the Standschütze Hellriegel 1915.
(Similar to the Hellriegel's depiction in Battlefield 1, the Hesse-Kolovin Type I(n) features a "simplified" feed system using detachable magazines and is designed to be portable enough for one person to use effectively, as opposed to unwieldy and unusual design features of the real Hellriegel.)

===Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk III*===
The first line of defense against Chaos, the fist of the Imperial Army, the defining symbol of Imperial military might is the now-ubiquitous Imperial Rifleworks No. III, Alteration V bolt-action infantry rifle. The standard-issue arm of most Imperial soldiers, it is a solidly made weapon capable of putting down most enemies the Empire faces with its hard-hitting .303 Reik cartridge. Many millions of these rifles have been produced, with thousands more rolling of the assembly lines each day to fill the needs of the ever-hungry Army.

More Than Human
|
More Than Human is a 20xx science fiction romance film based on the novel of the same name.
In 2040, the Allied Biotechnology corporation announces the creation of the Synthetic Humanoid Construct- machines designed to be perfect replicas of Human beings, down to the smallest of the smallest detail. Blurring the lines between organic and technological, the "Synths" are given life by the most advanced artificial intelligence ever created. Eight random people around the world are given the opportunity to have a Synth in their home as par tof a field testing program before worldwide release. One of these people is Carter Hansen of Tyler, Texas. Initially distant and put off by the presence of his Synth named Cassie, Carter soon finds that Cassie is not what he expects. The Human and Synthetic form a unexpected and groundbreaking bond that will need to survive the world around them.
The following weapons were used in the film More Than Human:
Handguns
"Legionnaire Arms Praetorian"
Carter owns a fictional revolver based on the designs of the Mateba Model 6 Unica and Chiappa Rhino. In-universe, it is chambered in .357 Magnum, possess a 6 inch barrel, is made of various advanced 3D printed polymers, and is manufactured by the Legionnaire Arms company of Salt Lake City, Utah, which will be founded in 2028. Cassie (Courtney Hope) uses the Praetorian when she and Carter visit a shooting range. She uses it to make an impressive 2,000 meter shot, thanks to her various machine capabilities that far exceed those of a Human.
Beretta APX
Carter also owns a Beretta APX, which both he and Cassie handle on the shooting range.
Beretta Px4 Storm Inox

Heckler & Koch USP Compact
A Heckler & Koch USP Compact is seen at the shooting range.
Hudson H9
The leader of a group of thugs that attack Cassie and Carter outside a bar pulls a Hudson H9 on the pair and shoots Cassie in the head with it. Fortunately for her (and unfortunately for him), the bullet is easily deflected by the titanium-carbon nanocomposite casing protecting her Synthetic "brain" and leaves little more than a scratch. Cassie disarms the man and clears the Hudson moments after.
Kel-Tec PMR-30
One of Razim Kavorov's Synth bodyguards carries a Kel-Tec PMR-30.
Steyr M9-A1
An Allied Biotechnology guard draws a Steyr M9-A1 on Cassie when she is "recalled."

Lifted Veil: Nightfall
|
Lifted Veil: Nightfall is a 20xx science fiction action-thriller, the first film adaptation of the Lifted Veil universe.
Eli Hayes is a veteran agent of the United Nations Anomalous Defense Initiative, a globe-spanning secret organization founded in the aftermath of World War II with the mission of protecting Humanity from paranormal threats. Formerly assigned to the Northeastern United States Anomalies Task Force, Eli has been recently reassigned to the Southern United States Anomalies Task Force to help rebuild the depleted Armed Reaction Team 88 in the aftermath of a failed operation.
As Eli adjusts to life in the South and the different way of doing things than what he is used to in the Northeast, Eli learns that one of the Initiative's enemies, the Black Sun Collective, is planning something big. Their plans seem to hinge on Kelsey Bracken, a 17-year-old high school student living an average life in suburban Texas. What Kelsey does not realize is that she is a thaumatologist (the Initiative's term for a person born with the ability to use magic). Beyond that, Kelsey is a "Primus," a rare individual capable of wielding extraordinary magical power with ease, whose skill at magic wielding needs to only be "awakened" for them to use.
Reaching Kelsey first, Eli finds themselves pursued by Black Sun agents and hired guns, while traitors in the Initiative betray them. Together, Eli and Kelsey embark on a road trip through the South while Kelsey must quickly learn how to embrace her powers.

Warhammer: Age of Metal
Pistols
Colt M1911
Colt Model 1903
The predecessor to the Landerson Griffon 45, the Landerson Manufacturing Model CA is based on the Colt Model 1903. Popular on the civilian market, the Model CA was never widely used in military service due to the .32 Self-Loading cartridge being considered too weak to reliably put down many of the fell creatures encountered by the Imperial Army. It is, however, used frequently by troops who primarily engage Human threats, like Norscan Marauders, Chaos Cultists, and bandits. It is one of the sidearms authorized for use by the Altdorf Police Department.
Baby Browning
The Drakon Arms Stinger is a popular concealed carry option. These can be found in the waistcoats and pocketbooks of many a citizen of Altdorf, Nuln, and Middenheim. Based on the Baby Browning and other contemporary pocket pistols.
Bergmann-Bayard
The Holtz Company Outrider is an early semi-automatic pistol based on the Bergmann-Bayard. A novel design when it first hit the civilian market, they have since fallen out of favor for more modern designs. Second-hand Outriders can be found in most decent gun stores and will do a satisfactory, if not particularly exemplary, job of protecting its wielder from man-sized threats.
Borchardt C-93
Once revolutionary, the Craven & Hayes T5 Automatic has been mostly relegated to a cheap self-defense option found on the second-hand market. It is still potent and a fine combat pistol, one preferred by residents of the Imperial boondocks who can afford one over the traditional six-shooters. It is based on the Borchardt C-93.
Frommer Stop
Another offering by the Holtz Company, the Imperial Defender Model is a popular self-defense option based on the Frommer Stop.
FN M1903
The Drakon Arms M66 pistol is based on the FN M1903. The M66 is frequently encountered on the civilian market. It is also used by Imperial law enforcement and militia in some of the wealthier provinces.
Luger P08
For many in the Imperial Army, the gold standard of sidearms is the Bellum Model 9. Based upon the Luger P08, the Model 9 is so named for the cartridge it was designed for, 9mm Imperial, a cartridge rapidly gaining popularity across the Old World. It is one of the authorized officer's sidearms and also a popular choice for civilians.
Mauser C96
Steyr M1912
The Thalmann Armory P.02 Repeating Pistol is a semi-automatic pistol hailing from the province of Ostland. As such, it is extensively used by law enforcement in Ostland and by its militia, but is encountered rather infrequently across the rest of the Empire. Ostlanders like to claim it is the finest pistol ever made, of course. It is based on the Steyr M1912.
Revolvers
Colt Single Action Army
Colt New Service
Developed for the modern law enforcer in mind, the Landerson Police Model sees much service in the Empire's cities. Rural sheriff's departments tend to prefer the Peacebringer, however. It is based on the Colt New Service.
Colt 1878 Double Action
An early double-action revolver from Landerson, the M737 Swift was never quite as popular as its single-action forerunner, a fact that echoes the real history of its real-world inspiration, the Colt 1878 Double Action.
Harrington & Richardson Premier
The Mortenson & Sons Model 13 revolver can be found in mail-order catalogs or sporting goods stores across the Empire, and is a reasonably good self-defense piece. Just don't expect to be killing Chaos Warriors with it. Based on the Harrington & Richardson Premier.
Iver Johnson Safety Automatic
Cheap, plentiful, and reasonably able to put down most man-sized attackers eventually, the Meissen Arms Auto Revolver is a common sight in both cities and provincial towns. Small enough to comfortably conceal, it is popular with shopkeepers and tavern owners looking for discreet personal protection, as well as average citizens in both urban and rural areas. Of course, its commonality means it is frequently encountered in the hands of less savory individuals. Based on the Iver Johnson Safety Automatic.
Mle 1892
Grismerie River Armory, the state-run manufacturer of firearms in the Republic of Parravon, manufacturers the standard sidearm of the Parravonese Army- the Rapier Double-Action. Not uncommon in the border regions with Parravon, it is much less common elsewhere. Based on the Mle 1892.
Nagant M1895
Erengrad State Arsenal, Kislev's state-owned military arms plant, manufacturers a variety of the weapons to arm Kislev's vast Army of the North. Among the most common products churned out from the forges of Erengrard is the Ursus Revolver, appropriately based on the Nagant M1895. A solid, rugged piece, the Ursus is famed for simplicity and reliability in the face of the harshest conditions the steppe and tundra of the north can provide. The standard issue sidearm of Kislev's military and police forces, the Ursus is also widely exported to the Empire.
Reichsrevolver M1883
Originally produced by Altdorf Arsenal as a sidearm for the Reikland Provincial Milita, the Franz-Bromme M10 revolver proved to be an ill-fated venture. While firing a robust cartridge, it was found to be very clunky and slow to reload and fire. Militia forces who found the revolver foisted upon them usually sold them secondhand to buy a Peacebringer. These can now be found for quite cheap across Reikland and Wissenland. It's better than fighting with your bare fists, at least. Based on the Reichsrevolver M1883.
Smith & Wesson Schofield
Smith & Wesson Model 10
A more modern offering from Aquila, the Republica revolver is a popular piece across the Old World. A frequently encountered sidearm of Tilean police and military forces, it based on the Smith & Wesson Model 10. Anywhere Tileans are known to do business is almost guaranteed to have Republicas on hand for sale- so that is to say, it's a pretty common sight in cities and towns from the Southlands to the coasts of Norsca.
Smith & Wesson M1917
When the United Provinces Marine Corps asked for a harder-hitting revolver to better put down inhuman, Chaos-touched, or just plain drugged-up foes, Aquila Company responded with this stout revolver which fires .45 Landerson Self-Loading: the Arbalest revolver, based on the Smith & Wesson M1917. A recent addition to Aquila's catalog, the Arbalest is only recently trickling into the most well-equipped stores in Altdorf and Nuln.
Webley Mk VI
A joint design between the state gunsmiths of Talabecland and Ostland, the imaginatively named Revolver, Mark 4 is a sidearm encountered fairly often in the eastern marches of the Empire. It is based on the Webley Mk VI. Outside of the Provincial Militia forces of Talabecland, Ostland, and Stirland, it is not a sidearm seen too frequently on the civilian market. It does, however, have its passionate supporters, who claim the Mark 4 is superior to the famed Landerson Peacebringer and even superior to semi-automatics like the Bellum Model 9.
Shotguns
Double-Barreled Shotgun
Single-Barreled Shotgun
The even simpler and cheaper cousin of the double-barreled shotgun is the single-barreled shotgun. If simplicity, reliability, and ease of use is a concern, it's hard to go simpler than one of these. They are obviously even less suited for combat than a double-barreled shotgun, but as always, it's better than nothing. Just hope whatever foe you're facing can be put down in one shot. Also hope that any friends they may have are inspired to run away after one shot.
Browning Auto-5
Blackwood Repeating Arms of Luccini, Tilea has begun making a name for themselves through the production of novel and advanced firearm designs. This is exemplified in the Blackwood Razorback Automatic, the world's first semi-automatic repeating shotgun. Based on the Browning Auto-5, this shotgun is becoming popular for military use throughout Tilea and the Empire. The famed Nuln Ironsides are known to use a specially commissioned variant with a heat shield and bayonet lug to support their assault tactics.
Remington Model 10
Also hailing from Tilea, Tiberius Arms is the largest manufacturer of rifles and shotguns in the United Provinces of Tilea, with many products frequently exported to the Empire and beyond. One of its most popular products is the Model 6 Venator, based on the Remington Model 10. A long-barreled version is popular for hunting, while the shorter barreled "Sweeper" model is frequently used by Tilean police and military.
Sjögren
The sole product of the small Johansson Hunting Arms company of Ostermark, the Sybil Inertial Repeating Shotgun is a niche semi-automatic hunting arm its users swear by. These shotguns are known to sometimes make an appearance in the hands of Imperial Army personnel, always on an unofficial basis. It is based on the Sjögren shotgun.
Stevens Model 520
Winchester Model 1887
An early foray into the field of repeating shotguns, the Aver Ironworks Bulldog utilizes a lever-action system similar to A.I.'s famous lever-action repeating rifles. While designed for now outdated black powder shells, it is still found in less developed regions, favored by some over more modern weapons for its potent 10 gauge shells. Based on the Winchester Model 1887.
Winchester Model 1897
The Aver Ironworks Garrison was not the world's first pump-action shotgun, but it certainly is the most widely produced and utilized. Found in all corners of the Empire and beyond, the Garrison is available in numerous configurations to suit everything from hunting, to competition, to combat. Based on the Winchester Model 1897.
Winchester Model 1912
The Garrison remains extremely popular, but Aver Ironworks has officially released a successor model: the Stronghold. Featuring an internal hammer and refined extractor and loading mechanism, the Stronghold builds upon the successes of the Garrison. The Garrison remains in production, with Stronghold production numbers and users not quite reaching the level of its predecessor for the time being. Based on the Winchester Model 1912.
Submachine Guns
Bergmann MP18
Revelli-Beretta
Not looking to be outdone, the United Provinces of Tilea has recently begun fielding their own submachine gun in limited quantities- the Automatico M1, produced by the Valle Ferro company, a manufacturer of pistols for the United Provinces Army. It is rumored to be based on trade secrets acquired from Nuln through less than official means. It is based on the Revelli-Beretta.
Standschütze Hellriegel 1915
Rifles
Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk III*
