Favorite Characters

1. "Rorschach's Journal. October 12th, 1985: Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!'... and I'll whisper 'no.'" 2. "I heard a joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life is harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. The great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says, 'But doctor... I am Pagliacci.' Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains." Rorschach (portrayed by Jackie Earle Haley) from Watchmen (2009).

"I want to show the people of Gotham that their city doesn't belong to the criminals and the corrupt...People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy. I can't do that as Bruce Wayne. As a man, I'm flesh and blood. I can be ignored. I can be destroyed. But as a symbol...as a symbol, I can be incorruptible. I can be everlasting...; something elemental, something terrifying." Batman/Bruce Wayne (portrayed by Christian Bale) from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy (consisting of Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and The Dark Knight Rises (2012, pictured above)).

1. "You wanna know how I got these scars? My father, was a drinker, and a fiend. And one night, he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not. One. Bit. So, me watching, he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. He turns to me and says, 'Why so serious?' Comes at me with the knife. 'WHY SO SERIOUS?' He sticks the blade in my mouth... 'Let's put a smile on that face. And...why so serious?' " 2. "Oh, you look nervous. Is it the scars? You want to know how I got 'em? So I had a wife. She was beautiful, like you. Who tells me I worry too much. Who tells me I ought to smile more. Who gambles and gets in deep with the sharks. One day, they carve her face. And we have no money for surgeries. She can't take it. I just want to see her smile again. I just want her to know that I don't care about the scars. So... I stick a razor in my mouth and do this...(mimics the action of slicing his mouth with his tongue)...to myself. And you know what? She can't stand the sight of me! She leaves. Now I see the funny side. Now I'm always smiling!" 3. "Don't talk like one of them. You're not! Even if you'd like to be. To them, you're just a freak, like me! They need you right now, but when they don't, they'll cast you out, like a leper! You see, their morals, their code, it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these... these civilized people, they'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve." 4. "I just did what I do best. I took your little plan and I turned it on itself. Look what I did to this city with a few drums of gas and a couple of bullets. Hmmm? You know... You know what I've noticed? Nobody panics when things go 'according to plan.' Even if the plan is horrifying! If, tomorrow, I tell the press that, like, a gang banger will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it's all "part of the plan". But when I say that one little old mayor will die, well then everyone loses their minds! Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I'm an agent of chaos. Oh, and you know the thing about chaos? It's fair." 6. "This city deserves a better class of criminal, and I'm gonna give it to 'em. You see, it's not about money. Its about sending a message - everything burns." The Joker (portrayed by Heath Ledger) from The Dark Knight (2008).

1. "Behind this mask there is more than just flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea... and ideas are bulletproof." 2. "People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people." 3. "Artists use lies to tell the truth. Yes, I created a lie. But because you believed it, you found something true about yourself." 4. "Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. [laughs] Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me 'V'." 5. Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now high chancellor, Adam Sutler. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. Last night I sought to end that silence. Last night I destroyed the Old Bailey, to remind this country of what it has forgotten. More than four hundred years ago a great citizen wished to embed the fifth of November forever in our memory. His hope was to remind the world that fairness, justice, and freedom are more than words, they are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you then I would suggest you allow the fifth of November to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one year from tonight, outside the gates of Parliament, and together we shall give them a fifth of November that shall never, ever be forgot." 6. ...A building is a symbol, as is the act of destroying it. Symbols are given power by people. Alone, a symbol is meaningless, but with enough people, blowing up a building can change the world." 7. "And thus I clothe my naked villainy / With old odd ends stolen forth from holy writ/And seem a saint when most I play the devil. (quoting Shakespeare's Richard III, Act I Scene 3)" 8. "The multiplying villainies of nature do swarm upon him...disdaining fortune/with his brandish'd steel, which smoked with bloody execution...? (quoting from Shakespeare's Macbeth Act I Scene 2)" 9. "By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe. (translation of Latin quote by English occultist Aleister Crowley)" 10. "We are oft to blame in this, - / 'Tis too much proved - that with devotion's visage/ And pious action we do sugar o'er/ The devil himself. (quoting from Shakespeare's Hamlet Act 3, Scene 1)" 11. "I dare do all that may become a man; Who dares do more is none. (quoting from from Macbeth Act I Scene 7)" 12. "Conceal me what I am, and be my aid For such disguise as haply shall become The form of my intent (Twelfth Night Act I Scene 2)." V (portrayed by Hugo Weaving from V for Vendetta (2006).

1. " I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You're a plague and we are the cure." 2. "You hear that Mr. Anderson?...(a train approaches him) That is the sound of inevitability... It is the sound of your death... Goodbye, Mr. Anderson..." 3. " I hate this place. This zoo. This prison. This reality, whatever you want to call it, I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it." 4. "I killed you, Mr. Anderson. I watched you die... with a certain satisfaction, I might add. Then something happened. something that I knew was impossible, but it happened anyway. You destroyed me, Mr. Anderson. After that, I understood the rules, I knew what I was supposed to do, but I didn't. I couldn't. I was compelled to stay, compelled to disobey. And now, here I stand because of you, Mr. Anderson. Because of you, I'm no longer an Agent of this system. Because of you, I've changed. I'm unplugged. A new man, so to speak. Like you, apparently, free." 5. "But, as you well know, appearances can be deceiving, which brings me back to the reason why we're here. We're not here because we're free. We're here because we're not free. There is no escaping reason; no denying purpose. Because as we both know, without purpose, we would not exist. It is purpose that created us. Purpose that connects us. Purpose that pulls us. That guides us. That drives us. It is purpose that defines us. Purpose that binds us. We are here because of you, Mr Anderson. We're here to take from you what you tried to take from us. Purpose." 6. " Agent Smith: Why, Mr. Anderson? Why do you do it? Why get up? Why keep fighting? Do you believe you're fighting for something? For more than your survival? Can you tell me what it is? Do you even know? Is it freedom? Or truth? Perhaps peace? Yes? No? Could it be for love? Illusions, Mr. Anderson. Vagaries of perception. The temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love. You must be able to see it, Mr. Anderson. You must know it by now. You can't win. It's pointless to keep fighting. Why, Mr. Anderson? Why? Why do you persist? Neo: Because I choose to." Agent Smith from The Matrix Trilogy (consisting of The Matrix (1999), The Matrix Reloaded (2003), and The Matrix Revolutions (2003)).

1. "If you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal, and if they can't stop you, then you become something else entirely. Legend, Mr. Wayne. Legend." 2. "Theatricality and deception are powerful agents. You must become more than just a man in the mind of your opponent." 3. You have learned to bury your guilt with anger. I will teach you to confront it, and to face the truth. You know how to fight six men. We can teach you how to engage six hundred. You know how to disappear. We can teach you to become truly invisible. A Ninja understands that invisibility is a matter of patience... and agility." 4. "But a criminal is not complicated. What you really fear is inside yourself. You fear your own power. You fear your anger, the drive to do great or terrible things." 5. "Men fear most what they cannot see." 6. "I know the rage that drives you. That impossible anger strangling the grief, until the memory of your loved one is just... poison in your veins. And one day, you catch yourself wishing the person you loved had never existed, so you would be spared your pain." 6. "Your training is nothing. The will is everything. The will to act." 7. "Your anger gives you great power, but if you let it, it will destroy you." Henri Ducard (portrayed by Liam Neeson) in Batman Begins (2005).

1. "Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact... same f***ing thing... over and over again expecting... s*** to change... That. Is. Crazy. The first time somebody told me that, I dunno, I thought they were bulls***ting me, so, I shot him. The thing is... He was right. And then I started seeing, everywhere I looked, everywhere I looked all these f***ing p****s, everywhere I looked, doing the exact same f***ing thing... over and over and over and over again thinking 'this time is gonna be different. No, no, no please... This time is gonna be different, I'm sorry, I don't like...the way...you are looking at me... Okay, Do you have a f***ing problem in your head, do you think I am bulls***ting you, do you think I am lying? F*** you! Okay? F*** you!... It's okay, man. I'm gonna chill, hermano. I'm gonna chill... The thing is... Alright, the thing is I killed you once already... and it's not like I am f***ing crazy. It's okay... It's like water under the bridge. " 2. "You are angry, Jason. You, are angry. I get that. I get it. I mean without family who the f*** are we? There was a time I would do anything for my sister. I mean, the first time I ever killed was for my sister. Not enough for her, no no no no no please. You see the thing about our loved ones, right, our F***ING loved ones, they come and they BLINDSIDE you every f***ing time. So they say to me, they say, 'Vaas. Vaas. Who the F*** is it going to be? THEM or ME, ME or THEM?' Like, like you know, like they f***ing think that I need to make a f***ing choice." 3. The world is a diagonal... I am the balancing point." 4. "What is it, Jason? Jason, what is it? Why aren't you laughing now like you did up there? What, iS this not fun anymore? Have I failed to entertain you? You see, the thing is...up there, you though you had a chance. WAY UP IN THE F***ING SKY, you thought you had your finger on the p**** trigger. But hermano, down here...down here, (rubs ground several times, lifts up a pile of dirt with one hand, and lets it fall to the ground slowly) you hit the ground. It's okay. I'm gonna chill. I'm gonna relax because you, moi, (whistles) and your tough guy brother, we're going to have a lot of fun together while we'll wait for the money. I just hope you pieces of f***s are more entertaining that your friends. Ta-ta. Bye." Vaas Montenegro (portrayed by Michael Mando) in Far Cry 3 (2012).

Gun Pictures

Occasionally, my MCJROTC unit goes on a shooting field trip to a shooting range hosted by various local rifle clubs. There, we usually do a competition between other cadets with rifles chambered in .22 Long Rifle and .223 Remington, and fire numerous and random weapons.

Screencaping

I usually buy/rent my movies from iTunes (either in HD [occurs more often] or in standard definition) and then use Snipping Tool (automatically comes with Windows 7) to screencap. If I am watching a movie from a DVD or Blu-Ray, I use VLC and select the "Snapshot" button. I then tweak the screenshot with Photoshop or use the video settings in VLC to adjust my screenshots with sharpness or correct it. Then, I use FastStone Photo Resizer to convert the VLC screenshots into jpeg format.

Drawings

Here are drawings that I drew(I am good at drawing simple weapons like the M1911A1, but can't draw humans good somehow). I'll try to upload more.

Error creating thumbnail: File missing
A drawing of a Colt .38 Super converted into a machine pistol with the Muzzle break, Thompson front pistol grip, and extended magazine. Note how I suck at drawing the front grip.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing
This is an earlier concept of the M1911A1 I originally drew. The top one wasn't perfect with the suppresor and the left one looks more like a Desert Eagle. The right one was my final drawing.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing
After drawing my pistol, I tested out my drawing into a complete drawing of a bank robbery. You can see the close up of an M1911A1 machine pistol firing. Note the 2 M1921AC Thompson in the background and the 2 extra M1911A1s. I really suck at drawing hands and people.

My drawing of various guns all drawn by me with some mistakes. These guns shown here are also some of my favourite guns. This picture shows an M1928 Thompson, an M1A1 Thompson behind the M1928, an M14 fitted with a sniper scope, a Model 24 Stielhandgranate, an M26 hand grenade, a SIG-Sauer P226, a Glock 17 with steel sides, and an XM177.
