The Hateful Eight is a 2015 Western film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. The film follows eight travelers who find themselves stranded in a log cabin during a massive snowstorm. The cast includes Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, and Walton Goggins. The Hateful Eight was one of only twelve features that were lensed in the Ultra Panavision 70 film format.

Remington 1858 "Cattleman's Carbine"
The Remington 1858 "Cattleman's Carbine" is the primary weapon carried by John Ruth, "The Hangman" (Kurt Russell). The weapon also is seen in the hands of Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins).
Revolvers
Single Action Army
As with many Westerns, the Single Action Army is the most commonly seen gun in the film. Several SAAs of varying models are seen.
Single Action Army Quickdraw Model (4.75" barrel)
The Quickdraw model is notably used by Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson), Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins), and General Sanford "Sandy" Smithers (Bruce Dern).
Single Action Army Artillery Model (5.5" barrel)
Bob/Marco the Mexican (Demián Bichir) carries an artillery Model with a 5.5" barrels.
Single Action Army Cavalry Model (7.5" barrel)
The Cavalry model is the revolver carried by John "The Hangman" Ruth (Kurt Russell) and later is seen used by Major Marquis Warren, aka "The Bounty Hunter" (Samuel L. Jackson).
Colt 1878 Double Action
Jody Domergue (Channing Tatum) carries a pair of Colt 1878 Double Action revolvers as his sidearms.
Colt 1860 Army (Cartridge conversion)
Oswaldo Mobray, aka "The Little Man" (Tim Roth) carries a Colt 1860 Army with a cartridge conversion, which he uses to kill Gemma (Belinda Owino). John Ruth (Kurt Russell) later disarms him and disassembles his revolver, along with a Colt 1851 Navy belonging to Joe Gage (Michael Madsen), before asking the coach driver O.B (James Parks) to go outside and dump the pieces in the latrine.
British Bulldog
What appears to be a British Bulldog revolver with pearl grips is also seen in the hands of Oswaldo Mobray (Tim Roth).
Joe Gage (Michael Madsen) carries a Colt 1851 Navy with a Richards-Mason conversion and ivory grips, which he uses to kill Six Horse Judy (Zoe Bell) during chapter five. John Ruth (Kurt Russell) later takes the revolver from him, along with the 1860 Army belonging to Oswaldo Mobray (Tim Roth), before disassembling both and having O.B (James Parks) dump them into the outside latrine

Joe (Michael Madsen) also uses a Colt Walker revolver.
Shotguns
Double Barreled "Coach" Shotgun
Joe Gage (Michael Madsen) is seen taking a Coach Gun from the stage. A similar gun is held by Bob "The Mexican" (Demián Bichir).
