The rifle used in the assassination attempt is named in the series as a "Black King". In "Killing Zone" (S1E06), it is described as one of four rifles in the world powerful enough to use the special round designed by Swagger's instructor Rathford O'Brien (William Fichtner) and is chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum.
