Secret Agent (Podvig razvedchika, literally "The Scout's Exploit"; also known as Secret Mission and Secrets of Counter-Espionage) is a Soviet 1947 B&W war drama directed by Boris Barnet. In 1943 Soviet intelligence officer Aleksey Fedotov (Pavel Kadochnikov) operates in Nazi occupied town of Vinnytsa, impersonating German Heinrich Eckert. His task is to obtain the secret correspondence of General Kuhn.
Podvig razvedchika is known to originate the spy genre in Soviet cinema.
The following weapons were used in the film Secret Agent (Podvig razvedchika):
Pistols
Mauser M1914
During the scene with Grigory Leshchuk (Amvrosi Buchma), Fedotov, posing as Eckert, draws a Mauser Pocket Pistol, most likely M1914.
Frommer Stop
Fedotov-Eckert uses a Frommer Stop when he abducts Gen. Kuhn (Boris Barnet).
Luger P08
Luger P08 pistols are seen in hands of German officers. Soviet underground fighter Astakhov (Sergey Petrov) also uses a P08.
Mauser C96
One of the officers of von Kuhn's headquarters is seen with a Mauser C96.
Unidentified pistol
In one scene Stübing (Pyotr Arzhanov) very briefly holds a pistol. It generally resembles TT-33 but isn't seen clear enough to confirm this guess.
Submachine Guns
PPSh-41
Guards, escorting Stübing-Karpovski, hold PPSh-41 SMGs with stick magazines. PPSh with more common drum magazines are used by Soviet partisans.
MP40
Most German soldiers are armed with MP40s. MP40s are also seen in partisans camp.
Rifles
Karabiner 98k
Some German soldiers carry Karabiner 98k rifles.
Unidentified rifle
An unidentified rifle is seen in partisans camp.
Trivia
Holsters
Fedotov-Eckert, Stübing and other German officers carry holsters for TT-33 pistol.
