The ASh-12.7 (''Avtomat Shturmovoy'' > "Automatic Storming Rifle" - ''12.7mm calibre'') is a Close Quarters Battle or Dynamic Entry weapon. It is useful in penetrating cover or breaching doors. It can also be used to neutralize targets that are behind cover and/or wearing body armor.
