:This launcher has bugged me for a long time, because I think I remember this exact launcher being identified in something else before. I have tried all of the search terms I can think of and haven't been able to find it, so maybe I am mistaken and I actually read about it on another website or something. From the best of my recollection it is a French riot gun that fires tennis ball like projectiles for blunt impact, but I still could never find anything.  --commando552 (talk) 11:25, 18 March 2017 (EDT)

It looks like to me like the Tec-9 in the screenshots has some kind of sleeve around the barrel shroud or barrel extension, which could be a modification made by the armorer, but it's also a characteristic of some toy airguns based on the Tec-9, which were pump-action and had an extended barrel and shroud which the pump-slide sits on. If the gun is never shown firing, I would suggest that it's probably such an airgun.ChopBlock223 (talk) 07:52, 20 January 2023 (UTC)

The unidentified revolver could be an early Taurus Model 85. The grips and the front of the ejector shroud match. ( StanTheMan thanks! ) -SeptemberJack (talk) 01:04, 17 March 2017 (EDT)

Thanks! Greg-Z (talk) 03:04, 17 March 2017 (EDT)
Actually the front sight on that revolver looks different than that on the Taurus, that and it looks bigger overall, I think this might instead be a S&W Model 19 snub. As for some other IDs, the second of the first two Un-ID'd guns is another worked-over 1911-type, I'm leaning to possibly a modded Strayer variant. I think the Rock Island ID is solid on the first one. The final Un-ID'd pistol is another G17. The Mossbergs might actually be Maverick 88s, they don't look to have the switch safeties (and do look to have the button safeties in a couple shots). The ARs all look to be SP1s (at least the ones that have shots of the receivers), some fitted with A2 handguards and some fitted with A1-style (the rifle ID'd as an AR-10 is one of the latter). StanTheMan (talk) 18:56, 17 March 2017 (EDT)
Stan's correct on the Model 19. In the second screencap you can see the adjustable sights and the raised front sight, which the Taurus doesn't have. Another win for Stan! -SeptemberJack (talk) 19:21, 17 March 2017 (EDT)

I tried to find the launcher among riot guns and also among painball guns but found nothing. :( Greg-Z (talk) 11:54, 19 March 2017 (EDT)

Tec-9 Pistol

It looks like to me like the Tec-9 in the screenshots has some kind of sleeve around the barrel shroud or barrel extension, which could be a modification made by the armorer, but it's also a characteristic of some toy airguns based on the Tec-9, which were pump-action and had an extended barrel and shroud which the pump-slide sits on.
