The Legend of Tarzan is a 2016 adventure movie directed by David Yates (the director of four Harry Potter films and the State of Play BBC miniseries) and stars Alexander Skarsgård as the titular character. This is the 46th adaptation of the novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, since 1918. The movie takes place years after the events of the novel. Tarzan now lives in England with his wife Jane Porter (Margot Robbie) as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke. However, he returned to the Congo, where he is invited as a trade emissary of Parliament. There he is a pawn in the conspiracy of the corrupt Belgian Captain Léon Rom (Christoph Waltz).
The following weapons were used in the film The Legend of Tarzan:
Revolvers
Chamelot-Delvigne Mle. 1873
The French Chamelot-Delvigne Model 1873 is the most used revolver in the movie including Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz) and Dr. Williams (Samuel L. Jackson). Captain Moulle (Ben Chaplin) is seen with a holstered revolver at the beginning.
Colt Walker
Instead of his previous seen Chamelot-Delvigne revolvers, George Washington Williams (Samuel L. Jackson) dual-wielding Colt Walkers during the night attack of the Kube village. This is the only time the Colts are used.
Rifles
Schmidt-Rubin M1889
Belgian and Force Publique soldiers are mainly armed with Swiss Schmidt-Rubin Model 1889 straight-pull bolt action rifles. One of Rom's men uses a scoped variant that is later used by George Washington Williams (Samuel L. Jackson). Some Kuba people use captured rifles.
Mauser Model 1890/38
The second most used rifle that is used by Belgian soldiers and Rom's henchmen is the Turkish Mauser 1890 rifle, upgraded with a 1938 style stock and barrel. These rifles should resemble the correct Belgian Mauser 1889 used by Belgian troops at that time which has a thicker barrel jacket and no pistol grip stock.
Winchester Model 1873
A Winchester Model 1873 rifle is briefly held by Dr. Williams after the night attack of the village. This rifle is lost after he jumped from a cliff into the jungle.
Machine Guns
Maxim 1895
Maxim 1895s are used by Belgian, Force Publique and Dr. Williams. Some are mounted on heavy carriages with large spoked wheels, on Rom's boat, and on the train with shields.
Shotguns
Double Barreled Shotgun
After the successful takeover of the train, Dr. Williams gets his hands on a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun.
