Top Dog is a 1995 action comedy directed by Aaron Norris and starring Chuck Norris as San Diego cop Jake Wilder who works with police dog named Reno against a dangerous Neo-Nazi organisation.
The following weapons are seen in the movie Top Dog:
Handguns
Beretta 92FS Inox
Lt. Jake Wilder (Chuck Norris) carries a Beretta 92FS Inox pistol as his main sidearm.
Beretta 92FS
Several Neo Nazi terrorists are armed with Beretta 92FS pistols.
Walther PPK
Otto Dietrich's (Kai Wulff) personal weapon is stainless or nickel plated Walther PPK. In the final scene Karl Koller (Peter Savard Moore) also carries a stainless PPK (supposedly it's the same movie prop).
Glock 17
Glock 17 pistols are used by San Diego police officers and detectives including Savannah Boyette (Michele Lamar Richards) and Lt. Mark Curtains (Francesco Quinn). Border Patrol officers also carry Glock pistols (Eric Norris is the son of Chuck Norris and appears in this scene as a Border Patrol officer).
SIG-Sauer P226
Capt. Ken Callahan (Clyde Kusatsu) carries what appears to be a SIG-Sauer P226 as his sidearm.
Unidentified revolver
In the opening scene Sgt. Lou Swanson (Carmine Caridi) is armed with a revolver. It is seen only in darkness and briefly.
Heckler & Koch P9S
One of Neo Nazi terrorists uses suppressed Heckler & Koch P9S to kill two police officers.
Intratec TEC-9
In the scene on the Mexican border an illegal arms trader fires an Intratec TEC-9 pistol at Border Patrol officers. Though his TEC-9 fires semi-auto, the sound is of full auto fire.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Heckler & Koch MP5A3s are widely used by Neo-Nazis including two of the attackers in clown masks. In the final scene MP5A3s are seen in hands of SWAT officers.
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
Several of Neo Nazi terrorists are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW SMGs. They can be identified due to the side folding stocks.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
In the final scene Lt. Jake Wilder (Chuck Norris) is armed with a Mossberg 500 Cruiser with heat shield and saddle shell holder.
SWD/Cobray Street Sweeper
One of the attackers in clown masks is armed with a SWD/Cobray Street Sweeper shotgun with civilian-legal (18") barrel and top folding stock.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M82A2
In the final scene one of SWAT snipers is armed with a bullpup rifle that resembles Barrett M82A2.
![](/images/e/ee/Barrettm82a2.jpg)
Heckler & Koch SR9(T)
In the final scene several of SWAT snipers are armed with Heckler & Koch SR9(T) rifles.
LAR Grizzly Big Boar
Lt. Mark Curtains (Francesco Quinn) is armed with a LAR Grizzly Big Boar. It has an unusual two-tone finish with the upper receiver and barrel being black, whilst the lower receiver, muzzle brake and scope are stainless steel.
Assault Rifles
Norinco Type 56-1
Several of Neo Nazi terrorists are armed with Norinco Type 56-1 assault rifles with AKM slant muzzle brakes. This gun fires only semi-auto.
Colt CAR-15 with M203 grenade launcher
During the scene in terrorists training camp a long-haired man is armed with a CAR-15 variant with an M203 grenade launcher. This gun fires only semi-auto so it can be a converted AR15 Sporter 1 Carbine. The same rifle is used by one of the SWAT officers in the final scene. This carbine with grenade launcher looks very similar to the ones used in other 1990s action movies like Double Impact, Predator 2 and RoboCop 3.
Colt Sporter
One of the SWAT officers is armed with a carbine that looks like some version of Colt Sporter.
Other Weapons
M203 Grenade Launcher
During the scene in terrorists training camp a long-haired man is armed with a CAR-15 variant with an M203 grenade launcher. The same rifle with grenade launcher is used by one of the SWAT officers in the final scene.
