The film was directed by Sam Hargrave, who was the stunt coordinator for several films within the MCU, and premiered on Netflix on April 24, 2020. Not to be confused with the 2015 DTV action film that stars Kellan Lutz and Bruce Willis. The film was followed by the 2023 Netflix sequel, Extraction 2.
