According to a comment posted on Matt Bissonette's website, the SEALs who took part in the op used plain old HK416s rather than sniper rifles. It's way too short (KAC makes carbine versions, but they're not this short) and appears to be a 5.56 judging by the mag size. Spartan198 (talk) 03:46, 27 June 2020 (EDT) | |||
It’s an HK416 with a 16.5” barrel, which is what the SEALs actually used in the real operation. You can tell by the white safety setting, the rail and the shape of the magazine well.--GunGenius1 (talk) 23:24, 26 July 2022 (EDT) |

Not an SR-25
This isn't an SR-25.
It's way too short (KAC makes carbine versions, but they're not this short) and appears to be a 5.56 judging by the mag size. Spartan198 (talk) 03:46, 27 June 2020 (EDT)
