After looking them up, kinda cool the animators actually went ahead with an obscure yet period accurate gun. Winchester 1300

Given the slightly longer pump grip as well as the distinctive mag-tube end, I think these more resemble High Standard FLITE KING K-1200 'Standard' shotguns.
