If possible, could you get captures in 16:9 instead of 4:3? I get that you may be limited to the latter though because of PC performance.--AgentGumby (talk) 17:27, 22 June 2019 (EDT) | If possible, could you get captures in 16:9 instead of 4:3? You | You can play on 16:9 and crop out the black bars after taking a screenshot. --Wuzh (talk) 04:59, 25 June 2019 (EDT) | ||
:I would if Sandstorm had an option for running it in 16:9 or 4:3, but unfortunately it doesn't have that and like I said with Gumby, I could stretch the images to 16:9 and they're still going to look weird and warped. ----PaperCake 13:48, 25 June 2019 (EST) |

Welcome to IMFDB
Before you do any editing please take the time to read the Rules, Standards and Principles. This is a very important document that explains how this website is setup as well as telling you what is and isn't allowed. If it is determined by an admin that you have not read these rules, your account will be suspended. Continued non-compliance may result in a permanent ban.
There are a number of pages that desperately need your help. You can find these Incomplete pages here.
If you have any questions, feel free to post them here but make sure to sign your post by typing --~~~~.
Finally, IMFDB has a forum set up here that is only available to registered members. There is lots of good stuff to see there. If you would like to join the forum, please post HERE and an account will be created for you.

Fallout 3
In regards to Fallout 3: I reverted some of your changes. Some of them were indeed humorous and were left alone. However, I did change some of them as a couple had wrong locations and information, (e.g. Vault City=Rivet City, Super Mutant=Enclave Soldier). I reverted some of the humorous captions as the tone of the game is very stern; almost to the point of depressing and I feel the page should reflect that. Majorcamo (talk) 19:20, 29 June 2015 (EDT)
Undoing the edits on the BF4 page
Seganamcofan sent me some links of youtube vidoes that indeed shows that the anims were taken from Warfigher. Look here (the ordinary version) and here Here you can see the animation that was used for the AS Val He was right bubba.--AnActualAK47 (talk) 19:51, 6 August 2016 (EDT)

Yakuza game edits
I see you've done some editing on the stuff I've written for the Yakuza games. That's fine, if you feel that there are factual inaccuracies that need to be corrected. Can I please ask though that when you're doing those edits that you proof-read them for both grammatical clarity and encyclopaedic tone? It's just it does annoy me when I find that you've made edits that I then have to correct for these small errors. One of the main problems is the use of contractions such as it's, that's, they're, he's... and so on. But also some things that you write just don't read very well. As I say, it's just important to read things through to make sure they look right. There are plenty of resources out there for writing in an encyclopaedic tone if you need help. And it absolutely does not mean you have to forget about humour; some of the best textbooks I've used read so well in part because of the humour their author has injected into them.
And I get the feeling that you are removing things that have been written on one Yakuza game article because something similar is written in another. The problem with this is the fact that people coming on IMFDB don't necessarily know about the guns on one Yakuza game from another, and therefore it's inappropriate to write one article with the assumption that they've already read all the other articles on the series. As I say, I don't want to have a falling out about this, it's just that I'm as passionate about this website as you are, and I want to make sure, as I'm sure you do, that everything is written as well as it can be. WWZ game edits
Thanks for the help on the article, nice to see a fellow PA resident helping make my first full post look good. If you liked left 4 dead then you will love WWZ, yes even though it came from a bad movie adaptation. If on Xbox please message me I need a good team-mate for the harder difficulty. CrazyIvan2X
