Bloody Mama is a 1970 gangster film directed by Roger Corman that was very loosely based on the true story of Ma Barker and her sons. The film's success as well as the success of similarly-themes such as Bonnie and Clyde would inspire Corman to produce several more gangster films over the following decade including Boxcar Bertha, Big Bad Mama and Capone.
The following weapons were used in the film Bloody Mama:
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Military & Police
Smith & Wesson Military & Police revolvers are used by most of Barkers. Mona Gibson (Diane Varsi) carries an M&P revolver in one scene.
Smith & Wesson Model 10HB
In the final scene several police officers carry Smith & Wesson Model 10HB revolvers. Mona Gibson (Diane Varsi) carries an Model 10HB revolver in one scene.
Smith & Wesson Model 27
In the final scene one of police officers is briefly seen with a revolver that has target sights and shrouded ejector rod. It is supposed to be a Smith & Wesson Model 27 but not for sure.
Colt Official Police
Colt Official Police revolver is used by Arthur Barker (Clint Kimbrough) in the bank robbery scene. In the final scene Arthur fires Colt revolver akimbo with Smith & Wesson Military & Police.
Unidentified snub nose revolvers
A snub nose revolver is very blurry seen in Herman Barker's (Don Stroud) hand during the robbery on the fair.
A snub nose revolver is a personal weapon of the chief FBI agent in the final scene.
Pistols
Star Model B
An M1911A1-style pistol is a personal weapon of Herman Barker (Don Stroud). In one scene he gives it to Mona Gibson (Diane Varsi). This pistol isn't seen clear enough to identify for sure if it is a genuine M1911A1 or Star Model B but the shape of the grip better matches the Star pistol.
Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket
A Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket is a personal weapon of Ma Barker (Shelley Winters).
Submachine Guns
M1928 Thompson
M1928 Thompson SMGs with drum magazines are used by Ma Barker (Shelley Winters) and Herman Barker (Don Stroud) in several scenes. In the final scene FBI agents also use Thompsons.
Shotguns
Double Barreled Shotgun
A double barreled shotgun is used by Lloyd Barker (Robert De Niro) during Barker's first robbery. In the final scene Fred Barker (Robert Walden) fires a double barreled shotgun.
Rifles
Winchester Model 1892
