The Return of the Man from U.N.C.L.E.: The Fifteen Years Later Affair is a 1983 TV movie based on the 1964 TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. , starring Robert Vaughn and David McCallum . Leo G. Carroll , who had played Number 1 of Section 1 Alexander Waverly, had passed away years earlier in 1972, and Patrick Macnee , playing a new character, came in to replace him. Anthony Zerbe , Geoffrey Lewis , Tom Mason , and Gayle Hunnicutt , round out the cast.

The new standard issue UNCLE sidearm is the Heckler & Koch P7M8 , which, like its predecessor , can be converted into a carbine with shoulder stock, suppressor, extended mag, barrel extension, and scope. When Napoleon Solo (Robert Vaughn ) asks the UNCLE armorer Z-65 (Judith Chapman) what happened to their old special UNCLE guns, she coldly replies that "They're in the special UNCLE wing of the Smithsonian."

Walther PPK
"JB" (George Lazenby ) draws a Walther PPK to set aside. "JB" is just another British secret agent in a white tux driving a silver Aston Martin DB5 with the initals "JB" who looks like George Lazenby, but is legally not James Bond . This is an homage to Ian Fleming, who had a hand in developing the original series. Andrea Markovitch (Gayle Hunnicutt ) even makes reference to On Her Majesty's Secret Service .
