Talk:The End of St. Petersburg
(Redirected from Talk:End of St. Petersburg, The)
I think the Arisakas are Mausers. I believe only the Germans had the distinctive sawback bayonets, and you can see one of the barrel bands. And the Maxim is obviously a Colt 1895 Potato Digger. --Funkychinaman (talk) 08:17, 17 April 2017 (EDT)

- The revolvers holsters are for Nagant M1895 revolvers, but it's impossible to say if they contain revolvers or are empty. Mauser rifles are most likely Gewehr 98s with M1898/05 n/A Sawback bayonet (M1871 Mausers used bayoners of different shape and lengh). Colt machine gun is probably M1895/14 Russian contract model in 7.62x54R caliber. And why it is the same gun that appears in Storm Over Asia? The same model, yes, but why nessessary the same piece? About 15,000 M95/14 machine guns were purchased by Russian army, and in 1927 there was lot of them at hand. What is identified as 18-Pounder is just another 3inch M1902 gun. Heavy guns on the last screenshot are 42-pounder (106.7mm) M1877 guns. Greg-Z (talk) 11:46, 17 April 2017 (EDT)
