AMC Auto Mag Pistol A 44 Auto Mag is featured heavily in "Target Hooker" (S4E6), as the primary weapon of choice of the vengeful Walt Duggan (Robert Dryer ). Interestingly, this firearm is one of only two 44 Auto Mags with 8.5" barrels (4-lug) originally built by Harry Sanford for the movie Sudden Impact (1983). The screen used version seen in this episode is serial number "CLINT-2", converted to blank fire only for the film's production, and is currently in the hands of a private collector. On a side note, serial number "CLINT-1" was given to Clint Eastwood after production of the film, hence the namesake. The image below is of the most current iteration of the 8.5" barreled variant, the "Founder's Edition", manufactured in Loris, SC in 2021.
