The Sign of Four (1983)

The Sign of Four is a British 1983 made for TV detective movie, based on the famous novel by Arthur Conan Doyle. It is directed by Desmond Davis and stars Ian Richardson as Sherlock Holmes and David Healy as Dr. Watson. This is the second of two 1983 Holmes movies with Ian Richardson, preceded by The Hound of the Baskervilles.

Dr. Watson (David Healy) uses a Colt 1878-1902 Philippine Model, a U.S. Army issued version of Colt 1878 Double Action (this revolver is also incorrectly referred as "Alaskan Model"), identified by its larger trigger guard.
