The Seventeenth Transatlantic (Semnadtsatyy transatlanticheskiy)
|
The Seventeenth Transatlantic (a direct translation of original title Semnadtsatyy transatlanticheskiy) is a 1972 Soviet war drama directed by Vladimir Dovgan and depicting the tragical story of PQ-17 Arctic convoy in July 1942. The main characters are crewmembers of Soviet steamer Kuzbass.
The following weapons were used in the film The Seventeenth Transatlantic (Semnadtsatyy transatlanticheskiy):
Pistols

Royal Navy Lt. Mitchell (Valeri Babyatinsky), liaison-officer on Kuzbass, has a Walther PPK pistol. This is the early model of PPK.

In several scenes it is manned by various sailors, including Semyachkin (Borislav Brondukov), ship's cook (Aleksey Kozhevnikov) and Lt. Mitchell (Valeri Babyatinsky).
