Samurai Commando: Mission 1549, known in Japan as Sengoku Self-Defense Forces 1549 (戦国自衛隊1549 Sengoku Jieitai 1549?), is a 2005 Japanese feature-length film and manga series focusing on the adventures of a modern day Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) element that accidentally travels through time to the Warring States period of Japanese history. This film was unofficial remake of the 1979 film G.I. Samurai.

Minebea P9
Both JGSDF (include Rei Kanzaki (Kyôka Suzuki) and Akihiko Mori (Katsuhisa Namase)) and Sengoku samurai (include Dohsan Saito (Masatô Ibu) and Tsuyoshi Matoba (Takeshi Kaga)) uses the Minebea P9 pistols, which is a Japanese licensed copy of the SIG-Sauer P220.
Howa Type 89
Both JGSDF (include Rei Kanzaki (Kyôka Suzuki), Yusuke Kashima (Yôsuke Eguchi) and Mikuni (Daisuke Shima)) and Sengoku samurai (include Yoda (Kôji Matoba)) were armed with the Howa Type 89.
Howa 84RR
JGSDF can be seen with the Howa 84RR which is a Japanese licensed copy of the Carl Gustav Recoilless Rifles.
Sumitomo M2HB
JGSDF tanks and samurai can be seen with Sumitomo M2HB machine guns.
Sumitomo Minimi Machine Gun
One JGSDF member on helicopter uses the Sumitomo Minimi, the Japanese-licensed version FN Minimi.
Tanegashima
Ashigaru use the Tanegashimas at the film's climax.
