The Prisoner of Zenda (1952)
The Prisoner of Zenda is a 1952 color remake of the 1937 adaptation of Anthony Hope's novel directed by Richard Thorpe and starring Stewart Granger and James Mason. The film reused the shooting script and score of the 1937, with very few modifications, and even some of the same setups, albeit in color.
The following weapons were used in the film The Prisoner of Zenda:
Webley Mk VI
The Webley Mk VI is the most common revolver seen in the film.
Enfield No.2 Mk.1*
Rudolf Rassendyll (Stewart Granger) is armed with an Enfield No.2 Mk.1* at the end of the film.
Rudolf Rassendyll uses a Danish Model 1891 Navy when he goes to meet Antoinette de Mauban (Jane Greer).
Double Barreled Shotgun
Colonel Zapt (Louis Calhern) and Captain Fritz von Tarlenheim (Robert Coote) are armed with Double Barreled Shotguns when they first meet Rudolf Rassendyll.
Unidentifiable rifles
Ruritanian troops are seen with rifles in the film, but they are not clear enough to identify.
Cannon
Multiple field guns open fire to salute Rudolf's coronation.
The castle of Zenda has a naval cannon as decoration.
