To Command Yourself (Prikazhi sebe)

To Command Yourself (a direct translation of the original title Prikazhi sebe) is a Soviet 1980 made for TV movie, directed by Igor Khomsky. Sergey Vishnyakov (Valeriy Poletayev) graduated from university and, having passed officer training program (Military Chairs), becomes a Soviet Army Lt. and is called up for two year service in enlistment office. To succeed, he must overcome many problems with both his fellow servicemen and conscripts.

Pistols
Makarov PM
Makarov PM pistols are service sidearms of Soviet Army officers and petty officers. Lt. Sergey Vishnyakov (Valeriy Poletayev), Praporshchik (petty officer) Viktor Ivanchikov (Aleksandr Potapov) and Maj. Pavel Poltygin (Georgiy Shtil).
Tokarev TT-33
In the scene on shooting range Lt. Vishnyakov’s PM switches to a TT-33 (in reality in 1980 TT-33 was completely removed from Soviet Army service and replaced with PM).

AKM
In the scene of military maneuvers of Soviet Army many soldiers carry AKM assault rifles. AKMs are fitted with with blank firing adapters instead of slant compensators.
Machine Guns
PK
In the scene of military maneuvers of Soviet Army soldiers also carry PK machine guns.
PKT
PKT machine guns are coaxially mounted on T-55 tanks and BMP-1 AIFVs.
DShKM
DShKM heavy machine guns are mounted on turrets of T-55 tanks.

RPG-7
RPG-7 rocket launchers are also used by soldiers during the military maneuvers.
