The Presidio is a 1988 thriller that stars Mark Harmon as Jay Austin, an SFPD Inspector who used to be a former US Army MP who then find himself working with his former boss, US Army Lt. Colonel Alan Caldwell (Sean Connery ) as they together investigate the murder of an MP on the US Army installation at the Presidio in San Francisco. The film was directed by Peter Hyams (End of Days , Timecop ) and the cast includes Meg Ryan and Jack Warden .
